Functional motor test(hereinafter referred to as FMS test)has been used for more than 20 years. It is a set of relatively scientific, objective, reasonable, simple, practical and operable testing methods. It is an operation mode test method to evaluate the tester's movement ability according to the basic activity abilities of human body such as stride, squat, bow step, stretch, trunk forward and backward inclination, rotation and so on.It can effectively test the tester's physical strength, flexibility and stability, find out the inadequacy of the movement chain in the activity, and correct the training plan in time. The purpose of this study is to master the physical condition of male undergraduates in independent undergraduate colleges in Beijing through FMS test,to provide reference for the establishment of physical education courses in Colleges and universities, and to provide guidance for more targeted improvement of physical condition. This paper takes FMS index test of male undergraduates in five independent undergraduate colleges in Beijing as the research object.A total of 1200 students from 5 independent undergraduate colleges in Beijing were randomly selected as test subjects, mainly using the methods of documentation, testing and mathematical statistics. In the course of the study, the subjects were grouped according to whether they came from urban or rural areas, whether they took physical education classes and different grades.Independent sample T test was carried out,and the final conclusions were drawn according to the verification results. The results are as follows: The height and BMI of male undergraduates in five independent universities in Beijing reach the standard weight, but there are differences between urban and rural undergraduates;male undergraduates in five independent universities in Beijing found five movements: squatting, hurdling, straight bow squatting, trunk stability push-ups and limb rotation stability. The scores were better than those of urban male college students;there was no significant difference between urban male college students and rural male college students in shoulder flexibility test;urban male college students were better than rural male college students in straight-legged initiative upward test;through the comparative analysis of the test situation of each grade, sophomore students were obviously better than the other three grades, and the test results of freshmen and senior students were relatively weak;Compared with other test results, the shoulder flexibility test scored the lowest, especially the left shoulder dysfunction. In addition, the evaluation of the other four bilateral movements found that the development of bilateral ability was significantly imbalanced and core stability.Research conclusions: At present, the physical education curriculum lacks targeted exercises for students' core clusters, emphasizes too much on the exercises of the anterior major muscles of the body, lacks the comprehensive coordinated and balanced development of all parts of the body.In addition, the core strength of the shoulder joint of college students is relatively weak, the stability of the trunk is weak, the coordination is insufficient, the core strength of the trunk is seriously insufficient to control the body balance, and needs to be increased. Some dynamic and static stretching content requires students to carry out active and passive stretching relaxation and other training to promote the regeneration of body function. At the same time, increase the core muscle strength exercises, especially to enhance the extensibility and muscle strength of back muscles and rear thigh muscles.
