| The new round of curriculum reform in our country emphasizes the comprehensiveness of curriculum content,life and situation,initiative,subjectivity and creativity of students.The core accomplishment focuses on cultivating students’ key abilities and improving students’ comprehensive accomplishment.With the continuous development of the new curriculum reform and the deepening of curriculum construction and research,many educational experts and front-line teachers begin to advocate the optimization of students’ learning from the perspective of adjusting the unit structure.Curriculum integration based on unit learning can continuously excavate and integrate the unit content,pay attention to the connection between knowledge and life situation,and form meaningful learning unit,so as to promote the improvement of students’ overall ability and the cultivation of comprehensive accomplishment.By collecting,combing and analyzing the relevant literature materials,this study clarifies the problems related to curriculum integration and unit learning,and uses the method of case study to study four Chinese teachers in the fourth grade in Primary School.This paper makes a further study on the implementation of unit learning-based curriculum integration in the front-line teaching field and the practical dilemma by using the methods of literature,interview,text analysis and observation.Through the research,it is found that the existing problems of curriculum integration based on unit learning are as follows: Firstly,the “fragmentation” of unit knowledge content,the neglect of the integrity and relevance of unit content,the excess and disorder of unit knowledge,lack of integration;Secondly,the knowledge-oriented unit overall design,separated from the individual experience of students and social life situation and stereotyped unit learning activities,leading to its “box”;Thirdly,the lack of deep experience in the unit learning process,as well as the shallow evaluation of the unit,making it in a “superficial” situation.Based on the analysis of the above problems,this study attempts to put forward some targeted improvement strategies: Firstly,by integrating the unit knowledge content,concentrating the unit theme setting,and then reconstructing the unit knowledge content.Secondly,the overall design of the unit should be guided by understanding,incorporating students’ individual experience and social life situation and designing flexible unit learning activities,so as to promote the rationalization of curriculum integration based on unit learning.Finally,it can further deepen the unit-based learning curriculum integration through the implementation of the appropriate unit learning process,pay attention to the student’s deep experience in the learning process,and adopt the depth of unit evaluation. |
