Research Background: At present,the full score rate of solid ball in Nanjing Physical Education Secondary Examination is low,the result disparity is large,and it is difficult to improve the result;solid ball is a technical sports action,the teaching process is dull,it is more difficult for students with lower upper limb strength to learn solid ball;physical education teachers are single and outdated in the teaching method of solid ball,and students interest can not be.Effective stimulation,ability training effect is poor.Research purposes: To explore the influence of PBL teaching method on junior middle school student body shape,physical quality,special quality of solid ball,interest in sports learning,problem-finding and problem-solving ability,communication and cooperation ability.Methods: Documentation,expert interview,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,teaching experiment and so on.The results show that:(1)After the experiment,students in both classes have improved in body shape and physical fitness.Through specific data analysis,the P value of T test is more than 0.05 in the experimental class and the control class,and there is no significant difference between the two classes.(2)In terms of the specific quality of solid ball,including sitting posture,throwing solid ball for one minute,back stretching,back throwing solid ball,standing long jump and back lifting for 15 seconds,there is a significant difference in the specific quality of solid ball between the two classes after the test,P is less than 0.05;PBL teaching method is better than traditional teaching method for the exercise effect of solid ball specific quality(3)Interest in sports learning.After distributing questionnaires before and after the experiment,it was found that there was a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class,P value was less than 0.05.(4)Thereare two aspects of students individual abilities: problem-solving and communication and cooperation abilities.The P value obtained from the analysis is less than 0.05.PBL teaching method is better than traditional teaching method in training students' individual abilities.(5)There is also a significant difference between the two classes in the performance of solid ball throwing before and after the experiment.The P value is less than 0.05,and the improvement of the performance of the experimental class is better than that of the control class.
