Since the birth of mankind,communication has been an important means of human information communication and cultural heritage.Since modern times,the rapid development of electronic and information technology has also made the development of communication media develop rapidly.The emergence of new media has brought profound impact on people's thinking and behavior.On the one hand,national leaders issued a call for cultural self-confidence,on the other hand,cultural exchanges and collisions between countries.Frequent,and all this can not be separated from the image of the media;college students as the most hopeful and dynamic group in China,their ideas determine the direction of China's future development;new media in College students,like teachers and elders,bring knowledge to college students,as well as window tools,bring students information and entertainment,new media in the subtle influence,deeply affecting college students.Cultural self-confidence.Therefore,studying the influence of new media on College Students' cultural self-confidence is of great significance to the future cultural inheritance of the Chinese nation.This paper actively investigates the current situation of College Students' cultural self-confidence in Jingzhou under the new media environment through literature and questionnaires,and finds some prominent problems of College Students' cultural self-confidence in the new media era,such as lack of vigilance against western culture and the use of new media.Through the investigation and analysis of the current situation of cultural self-confidence,the author puts forward some suggestions on cultivating cultural self-confidence of college students in the new media environment.In addition to the introduction and summary,the structure of this paper includes four chapters.The first chapter mainly explains the relevant concepts,new media and cultural self-confidence,including meaning,characteristics,types and functions.The second chapter will mainly elaborate the current situation of College Students' cultural self-confidence under the background of new media-take three universities in Jingzhou as an example,through questionnaire survey and analysis,describe the characteristics of College Students' cultural self-confidence,and analyze the influence of new media on College Students' cultural self-confidence.Chapter three further analyses the reasons why the new media affects college students' cultural self-confidence.From subjective and objective factors.Chapter IV puts forward its own suggestions from three aspects: building a new media ecology,giving full play to the advantages of new media,and establishing a trinity education environment,hoping to improve the cultural self-confidence level of College students.
