China is a large agricultural country,and the population quality in rural areas has a great impact on China's economic development.Education is an effective means to improve the human capital in rural areas and the population quality in rural areas.The early parent-child reading activities in rural areas can improve the quality of the rural population from the source and improve the quality of the population.Numerous domestic and international brain science research shows that the child at birth brain has 100 billion neurons,5 billion synapses,intelligence level reaches 25%of adult,a year later the number of synapses can increase 20 times on the original basis,by the age of 3,the child brain weight can reach 80%of adult brain weight.0-.3 years old is the period when children's brain and intelligence develop most rapidly.Children's brain development and intellectual development is closely related to children's living environment,so at this stage to create good living environment is indispensable to the growth of the children,and early family parent-child reading activities as an effective means to stimulate children's brain development,at the same time in the development of children's language,cognitive ability,can effectively promote the formation of good habit of reading children.To sum up,this paper takes Y area under a pove:rty-stricken county in Yunnan Province as an example,and uses social work methods to focus on the actual situation of parent-child reading in order to improve the parent-child reading ability of local parents.The study is divided into three stages.The first stage is to understand the current situation of parent-child reading in Y area from three dimensions of parents' early concept of parent-child reading,reading skills and reading environment by means of questionnaires and interviews.Forty families were selected to carry out home guidance service for parent-child reading for more than two months.The second stage is based on the investigation of the previous home service,summarizing and finding the common problems of parents in the process of parent-child reading,screening out 7 parents who have problems in the process of parent-child reading and are willing to improve their parent-child reading ability to carry out 8 group activities,and on this basis,using the method of case work to analyze typical cases,so as to improve parents' parent-child reading ability;The third is to carry out academic reflection on the basis of practice and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of social work in improving parents' reading ability.Through practical research,it is found that parents' parent-child reading ability has been improved to a certain extent and family parent-child reading atmosphere has been improved through social work case and group intervention.Meanwhile,the mutual exchange and discussion of parental experience among parents in acquaintance society has enhanced other parents' understanding of parent-child reading and effectively promoted the promotion of parent-child reading activities in Y region.
