Research On The Status Quo Of College Basketball Teams In Henan Province

The "Huaguang Cup" College Basketball Championships(HUBA)is a large-scale event sponsored by the Henan Provincial Department of Education.It is held in different summer schools in different summers.The men's group is divided into undergraduate and specialist groups,and the undergraduate group is divided into two groups.For Group A(general student group),Group B(Sports Education Student Group),and Group C(high-level athlete group),the outstanding basketball players from all colleges and universities in the province are attracted to participate.In the 26 th HUBA event in 2018,only men's A The group has 50 teams from 29 universities in the province.It can be said that HUBA is the highest level elite in Henan Province,and the team that won the ranking in the final four rounds of HUBA can represent Henan as a national college student.The basketball league(CUBA)competition has also received the attention of major universities.Basketball is a traditional sport in some colleges and universities.It can form several teams of different groups of men and women to participate in the competition at the same time.This puts forward new requirements and challenges for the coaching team of basketball.In order to further promote the healthy development of college basketball teams in Henan Province,this paper adopts research methods such as literature method,interview method and questionnaire survey method to study the coaches of 30 college basketball teams participating in HUBA competitions in recent years,from basic situation and team building.The influencing factors and other aspects of the analysis of the current situation of college basketball coaching staff,and strive to provide a theoretical basis for the development of college basketball in Henan Province and the improvement of the basketball team's own level in Henan Province,and also for the training of coaches in schools.And the administrative department provides an objective basis for the management and development of coaches.The study draws the following conclusions:1.The overall age structure of the coaches of college basketball teams in Henan Province is relatively reasonable.The average age of the two groups is about 38 years old,showing a pattern of high academic qualifications and senior titles.The coaching years are 5-10 years.Most of them;the gender structure of the coaches is not reasonable.2.The team configuration of college basketball coaches in Henan Province is mostly 1-2.Compared with Henan University of Technology,the coaching staff is slightly inadequate,and most of the selection and appointment methods are employed by physical education teachers.The coaches with high level of sports experience are insufficient.3.The basketball coaches of colleges and universities in Henan Province have good business ability.The ability of team members to select materials,training organization,coaching management,education ability,scientific research ability,and information acquisition can meet the needs of team training and competition,but the coaches' research and training conflict..There is less quality continuing education and training,which has led to a certain impact on the training of the coaching staff.4.Most colleges and universities in Henan Province pay more attention to coaches and teams,but the satisfaction of coaches is lower.Coach qualification and coaching experience,reserve talent training,hardware facilities,and quality of funding training have affected the construction of coaches to a certain extent.The following recommendations are made in response to the above conclusions:1.Strengthen cooperation and exchanges with professional basketball teams,physical education colleges and physical education institutes,and train more new coaches with solid technical capabilities and excellent scientific research strength,and cultivate new basketball coaches from both theoretical and practical aspects.This promotes the iteration of the team of college basketball coaches in Henan Province.2.Colleges and universities in Henan Province should form a team of semi-professional coaches according to the development of their own teams.Coaches perform their duties,ease the pressure of the head coach,and work with all parties,closely combine sports research and advanced basketball training concepts,and develop more scientific and reasonable training plans.3.When recruiting basketball coaches in colleges and universities in Henan Province,consider selecting coaches with professional sports experience and higher sports levels,and encourage athletes with professional sports experience to continue their studies after retiring,master the theoretical basis of basketball and certain physical education.After the sports training method,he will enter the university.4.College coaches in Henan Province should actively participate in job training,observation,study,and more outing exchanges and competitions to enhance their ability to lead and train.Colleges and universities in Henan Province should attach importance to and encourage the training and continuing education of coaches,solve the problem of training funds,reduce the pressure on coaches,and let the coaches have more energy to put on training.
