Research On Community Sports In Zhengdong New District Of Zhengzhou City Based On Supply-side Reform

Nowadays,as people attach more and more importance to health,community sports has become a research field that draws widespread attention.As the capital of Henan Province,Zhengzhou is an important city in central China.As the Zhengdong New District of Zhengzhou is a national demonstration zone,the research on the development of community sports in the district is of significant representative and demonstration value.From the perspective of supply-side reform,and by employing such research methods as the documentary method,survey method,mathematical statistics and logic analysis,this article first surveys the supply and demand of community sports in Zhengdong New District,then applies relevant theory of the supply-side reform to explore the contradictions between the supply and demand,and finally proposes effective strategies to promote the development of community sports.It is found through survey that residents of Zhengdong New District have an active demand for community sports activities,activity sites,social instructors,the organization and implementation of sports activities,and sports health knowledge.However,there is a clear shortage of community sports in the district which is difficult to satisfy the needs of the public.The contradictions between the supply and demand for community sports in the district are mainly reflected in six aspects,namely insufficient supply of sports sites and unreasonable resource allocation;insufficient sports instructors and unprofessional guidance;monotonous forms of sports activities and the residents' lack of interest in participation;poor community sports management and low management efficiency;imperfect evaluation mechanism for publicity and the residents' lack of sports health knowledge,and the problems they reported cannot be effectively resolved;and the monopoly in the supply of community sports service which is difficult to satisfy the residents' diverse needs.Based on such contradictions as well as the relevant theories of supply-side reform,this article proposes six strategies to promote the development of community sports in Zhengdong.The strategies are: to improve the community sports supply mechanism to satisfy the needs of the residents;to provide more training to social sports instructors to improve the community sports service system;to enrich the form of community sports activities,and to enhance the residents' constitution monitoring services;to pay more attention to community sports management and to build the fitness circle for community residents;to establish evaluation mechanism for public sports service to improve community sports satisfaction;and to play the guiding role of the government to invest more in community sports.
