From the boudoir,kitchen to the workplace,from "the man outside the home,women inside " to "both inside and outside",in the continuous progress of social concepts,women groups gradually rise under the wave of equal rights,and actively participate in the great wave of the workplace,their employment prospects and status quo are broader than any time in history.In basic posts,the gender proportion of women in the workplace is basically the same as that of men.In occupations more suited to women's characteristics,the proportion of women in employment is much higher than that of men,tourism is the one of the important areas.As a sunrise industry,tourism is a labor-intensive industry,with a large number of front-line service personnel,especially women.However,tourism industry is the one with the highest active turnover rate.Low salary increase,slow career development and lack of career achievement are the "pain points" of the industry.In addition,women's physical,psychological,family and educational constraints have cast a shadow on the career development of women in tourism service industry,which has greatly hindered their career development and caused a large number of women struggle to whether stick to the entanglement of the tourism industry or not.In view of this,this paper takes women as the research object,explores the barriers they encounter in the process of career development in tourism industry,and the impact of these obstacles on their involvement in tourism service work,so as to understand the barriers to career development of women in tourism service industry,and to guide the group to avoid the relevant barriers and provide intellectual supports for better involvement in front-line tourism services.Based on the related theory of human resource management-career development barriers andcareer involvement,this paper takes women as the research object,constructs the relationship model between career development barriers and career involvement of women in tourism service industry under the background of tourism,tourism industry and tourism practitioners,and puts forward the hypothesis that "career development barriers of women in tourism service industry have significant negative impact on their career involvement" and other research hypothesis,then build an index evaluation system based on the relevant research.Through the statistical analysis software SPSS 24.0,297 final effective samples were analyzed by frequency analysis,descriptive analysis,factor analysis and multiple regression analysis,and the basic evaluation of female groups on their career development barriers and career involvement was obtained.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Five common factors of career development barriers are "self-efficacy barrier","achievement motivation barrier","career expectation barrier","family orientation barrier" and "dependence barrier";(2)three common factors of career involvement are "vigor involvement","dedication involvement",and “absorption involvement”;(3)career development barriers of women in tourism industry has partially significant negative impact on carrier involvement,supporting some of the assumptions.In view of the conclusion,the paper suggests that:(1)enhancing the "hard" strength of women in the tourism industry and reduce career development barriers;(2)continuing to stimulate women's enthusiasm in tourism industry;(3)improving the negative effects of career development barriers in tourism service industry to help women deal with barriers in career development.
