The implementation of grateful education plays a vital role in the Essential-qualities-oriented Education in middle schools,and it also meets the new requirements of moral education in the new situation in the new era.On the one hand,grateful education can cultivate middle school students’ feelings of gratitude as well as behavior,which is conducive to the improvement of personality and interpersonal relationship.On the other hand,gratefiul education can purify the social atmosphere,improve the level of social civilization,and build a harmonious society.Therefore,the grateful education in middle school is of great significance.However,gratitude education is a new subject.Its theoretical research and social implementation are in the early stages.The content is not yet perfect.The problems existing in the middle school gratitude education are even more severe.Therefore,this article summarizes the predecessors and combines their related majors.This paper expounds the meaning and necessity of gratitude education in middle school,further emphasizes the analysis of the problems existing in gratitude education in middle school,and finally returns to the theme and puts forward relevant solutions to the problems.This article is divided into four parts,which are:First,an introduction.It mainly includes the research significance and purpose of the topic,the current situation and research methods at home and abroad.It is generally believed that foreign scholars have studied gratitude education very early.Compared with foreign countries,domestic research is still in its initial stage,especially in the middle school.The research methods include concept definition,qualitative research and innovative research.Second,the necessity of middle school gratitude education.On the basis of the previous research,combined with their own understanding and professional knowledge,it not only explained the concept of gratitude education,but also standardized the concept of gratitude education in middle school and put forward the necessity of gratitude education.Third,the status quo of middle school gratitude education.From the lack of understanding of it,the single implementation channel,the lack of educational atmosphere and the arbitrary development of goals,it is subdivided into the existence of family,school,society and their own problems.Among them,the theoretical research foundation is not sufficient,the responsibility subject is not clear,and the lack of effective evaluation mechanism is particularly prominent.Fourth,the middle school gratitude education has the problem countermeasure.Including raising awareness of its necessity,expanding the way of gratitude education,creating a good education atmosphere and paying attention to personality education.Improving the first education environment that students are most familiar with-the family,through a series of practical activities,to improve the students’hearts in a subtle way,so that students understand gratitude and gratitude.According to different students to develop different methods and strategies to achieve gratitude education.
