The "Situation and Policy" course is a very important ideological and political theory course,it has the political identity of enhancing college students' thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era of Xi,enabling college students to support the leadership of the Communist Party,identify the socialist road with Chinese characteristics,and establish the ideal and belief for the unremitting struggle of the Chinese dream.The "Situation and Policy" curriculum should be "advanced from time to time" and "new because of the trend",actively use new media and new technologies to enhance the sense of the times and attractiveness.Therefore,research on the "situation and policy" curriculum in the new media environment is in line with the requirements of the "situation and policy" curriculum advancing with the times and continuous development,and it is also the practical need for the "situation and policy" curriculum to enhance the teaching effect.First of all,it discusses the related concepts of the "situation and policy" curriculum research in the new media environment.The first is the meaning and characteristics of the new media environment.The second is the meaning of the "situation and policy" curriculum and the basic elements of the "situation and policy" curriculum,namely the "situation and policy" curriculum teachers,college students,teaching content and teaching methods.The third is the relationship between the new media environment and the "situation and policy" curriculum.Secondly,analyze the current situation and reasons of the "situation and policy" curriculum in the new media environment.Questionnaire surveys were conducted among college students in three universities in Chengdu.Through the analysis of the data,the achievements and shortcomings of the “Situation and Policy” course were explored.The survey results reflect that the achievements of the “Situation and Policy” course are mainly as follows: College students are very concerned about the domestic and international situation and national policies,and have a good understanding of the "Situation and Policy" course,and the teaching effect of the "Situation and Policy" course is also more significant.On the other hand,the “Situation and Policy” course also has some shortcomings,mainly as follows: The cultivation of college students' ability to distinguish and analyze needs to be improved,new media resources are not fully utilized,the reality and interest of the teaching content is not strong,and the degree of interaction between teachers and students is not high.For the shortcomings of the “Situation and Policy” course in the new media environment,the reasons are analyzed from the following aspects: The overall level of teacher and student media literacy is not high,The design of teaching content failed to adapt to the new media environment,and the teaching method is difficult to mobilize the subjective initiative of college students.Finally,explore the countermeasures to improve the teaching effect of the "situation and policy" curriculum in the new media environment.From the four aspects of the "situation and policy" curriculum teachers,college students,teaching content and teaching methods,the corresponding countermeasures are proposed.Among them,the improvement of the ability of teachers in the "situation and policy" curriculum is a key link to improve the teaching effect.Teachers of the "Situation and Policy" curriculum should update their teaching concepts,cultivate their own political qualities,and actively promote their media literacy.College students consciously strengthen self-education is a necessary condition to improve the teaching effect.College students should deepen their understanding of the importance of the curriculum,improve the level of information screening,and enhance resilience to bad ideas.The optimization of teaching content is an important way to improve the teaching effect.Using an in-depth interpretation strategy,incorporating media literacy education content,and use new media technologies to enrich the presentation.The innovation of teaching methods is a powerful guarantee to improve the teaching effect.The case teaching method is used to enhance the participation of college students.The video teaching method is used to improve the enthusiasm of college students,and the initiative of flipping classrooms to stimulate college students.
