Ritual Study On Kindergarten Entrance Activities

In recent years,rituals have attracted great attention,and various kinds of rituals in kindergarten have emerged in an endless stream.In addition to the flag-raising ritual,graduation ritual and other well-known rituals,there are all kinds of rituals in the daily life of kindergarten.However,it is rare to discuss and analyze these kind of kindergarten rituals from the perspective of academic research.In this study,field survey method was used to investigate and analyze the rituals in kindergarten entrance activities.The researcher entered the Y kindergarten in Hangzhou as an intern teacher and conducted two rounds of field investigation,which lasted for three months.In the two rounds of field survey,the researchers kept an open mind to "different cultures" and had in-depth contact with kindergarten workers,children and parents,including teachers,principals,health care doctors and security guards.The researcher stood in their shoes to feel the world they lived in,and wrote and transcribed a large number of field notes and interview texts.After the field survey,according to the field data,the paper presents the actual appearance of the rituals in kindergarten entrance activities in detail,summarizes and explains the functions and characteristics of this ritual,and based on the research findings,this paper puts forward some prospects and suggestions for the kindergarten ritual.Specifically,this paper is divided into the following three parts.The first part,including introduction and chapter two,design and explain the research.Introduction discusses the reason of this research,research significance,core concept definition,research summary,research purpose and research method.Fieldwork is one of the important research methods in this study,therefore put it out alone to become an independent chapter,this chapter illustrates why choose Y kindergarten as the scene and the situation in the kindergarten,at the same time on the field data collection and sorting process in detail,this chapter also report the researchers from "outsider" to be accepted "insiders" identity transformation process.The second part is the main body of this thesis.Firstly,paper presents the realistic appearance of the four rituals in the kindergarten entrance activities,including card swiping ritual,morning greeting ritual,reward ritual and class entering ritual,and analyzes the functional personnel and time and space Settings of these rituals.Secondly,it summarizes and analyzes the three functions of these rituals,including the function of skill learning,communication and transition.These three functions are not irrelevant,but work together on the children,so that they can acquire basic life skills and emotional motivation,complete the identity transformation,and smoothly carry out the kindergarten day life.Finally,summarized the characteristics of the rituals in kindergarten entrance activities,and it is considered that these rituals not only have the basic characteristics of the ritual,but also contain the special connotation of kindergarten activities.It presents the characteristics of combining the characteristics of ritual activities and kindergarten activities.Including the combination of ritual standardization and children's activity autonomy,the combination of ritual symbolism and children's activity practicality,and the combination of ritual practicality and children's activity in play.The third part summarizes the research findings of the whole study,and puts forward relevant prospects and suggestions for the kindergarten rituals,and finally reflects on the research.This study has the following views: the purpose of kindergarten rituals point to children's life growth,the uniqueness of kindergarten rituals depend on the uniqueness of children,and kindergarten culture has a profound influence on kindergarten rituals.Therefore,this study puts forward the following suggestions: to clarify the educational value of kindergarten rituals for the growth of children's life;to comprehensively use intuitive symbols to highlight the symbolic significance;to design a unique rituals based on the culture of the kindergarten.
