Poverty in education is not only the key reason to poverty but also an important reason for aggravating economic poverty.With the strategy proposal of "precise poverty alleviation",poverty alleviation of education has become the fundamental guarantee of precise poverty alleviation strategy,and poverty alleviation needs to find the right poverty point.With the rapid development of economy and the continuous progress of social civilization,in terms of education and development of Left-behind children,economic poverty is no longer the main poverty at present,and capability poverty is gradually evolving into the most important poverty of Left-behind children.Then what are the restrictions on the development of education for left-behind children in western rural areas,and what are the reasons for these restrictions? In this study,the typical left-behind children in a poverty county of Sichuan Province were selected as cases,and qualitative research methods were used to explore the capacity of education development of left-behind children in western rural areas.Firstly,what is the current situation of education for left-behind children in western rural areas;secondly,what causes the present situation of education development of left-behind children in western rural areas;finally,from the perspective of capability and poverty culture,what are the characteristics of the deficiencies in the education development of left-behind children in western rural areas.This paper is divided into five parts.In the introduction part,the author puts forward the research questions,explores the purpose and value of the research,combs and analyses the current research situation of the education development of left-behind children through literature,and defines the relevant concepts in combination with the needs of this paper.In the first chapter,representative cases are selected to present the story.In the second chapter,combined with the current educational development of left-behind children in western rural areas,it is concluded that the basic learning conditions of left-behind children in western rural areas can not be fully guaranteed,and their mental health can not be fully guaranteed either at school or at home.Their family upbringing culture has a great space to rise.Chapter three,through exploration and analysis,there are many factors that will affect the development of education for left-behind children,such as:the overall economic development is relatively backward,the basic condition is relatively poor,the basic guarantee of learning development is not in place,at the same time,family poverty culture is also a factor affecting the capability of education development of left-behind children in western rural areas.Chapter IV discusses the problems and causes of the education development of left-behind children in western rural areas,and draws a conclusion from the perspective of Amartya Sen's capability theory that left-behind children in western rural areas have some deficiencies in their capabilities in obtaining educational information,educational participation opportunities,educational funds,psychological health and family upbringing.Because of their weak economic foundation,poor basic conditions,inadequate basic guarantee for educational development and poor family culture.Among them,family poverty culture is the deep-seated reason that leads to its inadequate educational development capability.
