China is pushing forward the construction of education informatization and modernization.High-quality digital education resources are the important elements to promote the development of educational informatization.It requires a large number of high-quality digital teaching resources as a support.Online instructional videos account for a large proportion of digital teaching resources,which shows the demand for them.In addition,in the image era,the image with obvious advantages has an impact on people,so we have to think about new ways to design and construct appropriate educational resources,get rid of the shallow thinking and vulgarization brought by single image,learn with appropriate representation and resources in line with people's learning habits,and promote people's self-development and progress.At this stage,learners' visual literacy is constantly improving,and the requirement of online teaching video quality is also rising.In the process of designing online instructional videos,designers need to rely on multi-directional theoretical support.In order to solve this problem,this study is inspired by visual thinking,aiming at guiding the design process of online instructional video from the perspective of visual thinking theory,and designing high-quality online instructional video which is easier for learners to learn and understand.On the theoretical level,first of all,the author analyzes and combs the theoretical basis of the research process,namely visual thinking theory,cognitive load theory and multimedia cognitive learning theory.Through the analysis of existing researches on visual thinking and online teaching videos at home and abroad,the elements of online teaching video representation design based on visual thinking,namely macro design elements and micro design elements,are summarized.Then,based on design psychology and visual thinking theory,three design principles of people-oriented,visual guidance and visual representation are determined.Based on it,a visual instruction-based online teaching video representation design framework was constructed,and a visual thinking-based online teaching video representation design flow was determined.On the practical level,the video is designed according to the logical structure and design flow of the framework.And I use Adobe After effect,Premiere and other mainstream video editing and packaging software to develop and present it.On this basis,according to the conventional design and development model,the author conducted the development of the control video.And the author used the expert consultation method to further correct the two videos.Then the author uses the method of comparative experiment to apply the case and learner evaluation,publish the videos to the network,open them for the learner to learn,and use the questionnaire to learn the learner's situation,satisfaction and the cognitive load level.Additional data was obtained through semi-structured interviews.According to the data analysis,it is verified whether the online teaching video based on visual thinking theory is effective.In summary,the study obtained the following three research results.The research constructs the online instructional video representation design framework based on visual thinking.The online instructional video representation design framework based on visual thinking has guiding significance for online instructional video design and development.According to the visual thinking-based online instructional video representation design framework design online instructional video enhances learning.
