Study On The Ideological And Political Education Of Graduate Students In Colleges With New Master Degree In Science And Engineering

Since the new century, the enrollment scale of graduate students has been increasing,followed by a series of new situations and new problems on the ideological and politicaleducation of gradate students. And the ideological and political education of graduatestudents in colleges with new master degree in science and engineering is particularlyworthy of attention and thinking. This study, from the perspective of combining the mostbasic theory and practice, masters the rule of the ideological and political education work ofnew graduate students in science and engineering to explore the ideological and politicaleducation method suitable for the characteristics and practical situations of the new masterstations, and on the basis of grasping the particularity of college with new master degree inscience and engineering and the ideological characteristics of students in science andengineering major, presents countermeasures to strengthen and improve the ideological andpolitical education of graduate students specific to how to improve the ideological andethical standards of graduate students in such colleges and cultivate their fine quality andhow to grasp the characteristics, rules and other actual works about the ideological andpolitical education of graduate students in such colleges.By using the standpoints, opinions and methods of Marxism, this paper, with theguidance of the scientific outlook on development and the ideological and political educationtheory, specifically with the literature research method, logic induction method, surveyresearch method and other research methods, makes an in-depth analysis on similarities anddifferences between the ideological and political education of graduate students andundergraduate students, and analyzes the general ideological characteristics of collegestudents of science and engineering, the characteristics and shortcomings of ideological andpolitical education of sciences and engineering graduate students, as well as the plight in theideological and political education of graduate students in colleges with new master degreein science and engineering, and finally proposes specific countermeasures. On the basis ofthe theoretical analysis, combining the actual situations of the ideological and politicaleducation of graduate students in some colleges with new master degree in science andengineering, it’s believed that strengthening the ideological and political education ofgraduate students in colleges with new master degree in science and engineering must first improve the leadership system and working mechanism of the ideological and politicaleducation of such schools, build a high-quality instructor team, a ideological and politicaltheory course teacher team and a managerial staff team, and gradually strengthen andimprove the ideological and political education of graduate students in colleges with newmaster degree in science and engineering through conducting graduate students’ academicculture and academic ethics construction, social practices, volunteer service activities,psychological health education and consultation, creative ideological and political educationmanagement mode for graduate students and other education approaches; and throughbuilding the network information platform for the ideological and political education ofgraduate students, striving to achieve the natural integration of dominant education andrecessive education and playing the dominant role of the ideological and political educationof graduate students and other various means and methods.The main structure of this paper includes three parts. The first part analyzes thetheoretical and practical significance of this study, accurately grasps the research status ofcurrent ideological and political education of graduate students, put forwards the issue ofresearch and defines the research objectives; the second part deeply analyzes similarities anddifferences between the ideological and political education of graduate students andpostgraduate students, and analyzes the characteristics and shortcomings of ideological andpolitical education of gradate students in colleges with new mater degree in science andengineering; the third part proposes main measures to strengthen and improve the ideologicaland political education of graduate students specific to the shortcomings in the ideologicaland political education of graduate students in colleges with new master degree in scienceand engineering.
