| The history textbooks are the embodiment of historical curriculum standards.It standardizes the history classroom teaching on the breadth and depth of the history teaching content.Historical textbooks are the main teaching resource of history classroom teaching,which is not only the main teaching materials of teacher’s,but also the main resources for students to learn.Different historical textbooks have different descriptions of the same historical event,which reflects different cognition and understanding of historical events.This paper chooses the high school history textbooks published by People’s Education Publishing House in 2007 and World History published by McGraw-Hill in2006 as the research object.The paper want to analyse the differences between the two editions of textbooks in the writing and the reasons by comparing the content of "industrial revolution" of the two editions of textbooks,.This paper is divided into three parts to makes a research on the "industrial revolution" topic content in Chinese and American high school history textbooks.The first part explains the reasons for the selection of these two versions of high school history textbooks.And makes a comparative analysis of the two versions of high school history textbooks from the three aspects of their genre,style and structure system.The second part compares the content of "industrial revolution" in the two textbooks from the text system and the auxiliary system.The third part analyzes the reasons for the differences between the two editions of history textbooks in the thematic writing of the industrial revolution from three aspects: the differences in curriculum standards the impact of values,the impact of evaluation mechanism.Last,draws inspiration from three aspects of strengthening the guidance of study method,paying attention to historical research,and paying attention to "people" in history.And provide some suggestions for history teaching. |
