As early as last century,Ye Shengtao put forward the idea of "reading the whole book".But it could not be implemented,because of the limited conditions at that time.With the deepening of the educational reform,the whole book reading returns to the vision of the Chinese.In recent years,it has become a hot topic in the study of Chinese teaching,and the related research is becoming more and more abundant.However,the current research is mainly concentrated in the elementary school and junior high school,and there are few studies in the high school stage.Based on the analysis and summary of the previous research and the actual situation of the current teaching,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy in order to provide new teaching ideas for front-line teachers to read the whole book.The contents of the paper are as follows:Introduction:Explain the origin of research and the significance of research;classify and summarize the research of predecessors;draw on the previous researches to define the relevant concepts of reading the whole book.Chapter 1:Firstly,it expounds the theoretical basis of the whole book reading,and lays a theoretical foundation for the following strategies.Secondly,from the requirements of the "Standards of the Senior High School Chinese Curriculum Standards"(2017 edition)and the students’ cognitive ability,the feasibility of the whole book reading in the high school stage is discussed.Finally the application value of the whole book reading is analyzed from both teachers and students.Chapter 2:It mainly investigates the situation of senior high school students reading the whole book from the aspects of reading interest,reading motivation and reading methods,and investigates the basic situation of teaching from the aspects of cognition and evaluation of the whole book reading teaching.Through the analysis of the questionnaire data,the main problems existing in the whole book reading are summarized,namely:lack of planning,lack of interest in reading,lack of effective guidance in reading,arbitrary and single activity form,and unreasonable evaluation method.This provides a factual basis for the following strategies.Chapter 3:In view of the above problems,through consulting the literature and referring to teaching cases,the teaching principles and optimization strategies of the whole book reading axe put forward.The teaching principles include:the principle of subjectivity,the principle of planning,the principle of activity and the principle of integrity.Teaching optimization strategies include:making planning strategies,stimulating reading interest strategies,guiding reading methods strategies,organizing activities strategies,reading evaluation strategies.Chapter IV:On the basis of the above research,the whole book reading teaching design style is proposed,including teaching value,teaching plan and teaching design.Finally,the teaching design of Du Fu Zhuan is explained to make the theory concrete.
