As an important part of practical text reading teaching in senior high school,popular science teaching plays a vital role in transferring scientific and cultural knowledge and cultivating students' scientific and cultural literacy.Compared with poetry,novel and drama,popular science readings has always been a difficult reading problem for students due to its particularity in content and subject matter.For the majority of Chinese teachers,it is also a difficult teaching problem.Under the background of the new curriculum reform,the proposal of the task group of "research on scientific and cultural works" in the new curriculum standard of senior high school Chinese course not only puts the teaching of popular science readings in a prominent and important position,but also puts forward new requirements for the Chinese teachers of high school."question-oriented learning method" is a teaching method in which teachers present courses and teaching contents in the form of questions and let students learn independently,interact and communicate with questions and try to explore teaching activities.Compared with the traditional teaching,the "question-oriented learning method" is not only a new breakthrough to the traditional teaching concept,but also an innovative method in line with the new curriculum reform concept.Therefore,this subject introduces the "question-oriented learning method" into the teaching of popular science readings in senior high school Chinese course,in an attempt to explore an innovative mode suitable for the teaching of popular science in senior high school Chinese course,so as to solve the dilemma in the current teaching of popular science readings in senior high school Chinese course.This paper consists of the following parts:In the first part,the author defines the content of popular science readings and the "question-oriented learning method",which lays a foundation for the following research.The second part,from the theoretical basis and the practical basis of these two perspectives,the application of”question-oriented learning method" in the teaching of popular science readings to demonstrate the feasibility.The third part,through the observation found that "question-oriented learning method" in the teaching of popular science readings in senior high school Chinese course teaching present situation,find out the existing problems,and at the same time analyzes the reasons behind.The fourth part,combined with the analysis of the application of"question-oriented learning method" in the teaching of popular science readings,proposes suggestions from three aspects of problem formulation,teaching suggestions and evaluation mechanism.
