The Curriculum Standard of Primary Science in compulsory Education(hereinafter referred to as the New Curriculum Standard),promulgated on February 6,2017,marks another qualitative leap in primary school science curriculum in China.In order to fully implement the concept and guiding ideology of the new curriculum standard,this paper compares and analyzes the new curriculum standard of 2017 edition and the old curriculum standard of 2001 edition,combines with the investigation results of the implementation of chemical experiments in primary school science in Xixia District,improves and develops some experiments with lower operational feasibility,with a view to improving the teaching of front-line science teachers and cultivating students'scientiflc literacyThis paper mainly includes five parts,the specific contents are as follows:Part ?:Preface.This paper mainly introduces the background,significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods and theoretical basis of this topic.Science is the first productive force.In order to improve the scientific literacy of the whole people,the reform of primary school science curriculum has been paid attention to by the national science education.The promulgation of new curriculum standards points out the direction for the reform of science curriculum in primary schools.However,due to the influence of economic and cultural factors,the implementation of science curriculum varies from place to place.In this paper,questionnaire survey,interview,empirical research and other methods are used to investigate and analyze the implementation of chemical experinents in primary school science in Xixia District,Yinchuan City,Northwest China.Part ?:comparative analysis of new and old curriculum standards.The new curriculum standard,drawing on the new ideas of foreign science curriculum reform,has been changed in terms of curriculum nature,curriculum objectives,curriculum content and so on.Only by grasping the reform direction of the new curriculum standard,can we make better use of the curriculul concept and cultivate students'scientiflc literacy.By comparing and analyzing the contents of chemistry in the new and old curriculum standards,it is helpful for teachers to understand the objectives and contents of the new curriculum standards,arrange teaching contents reasonably,and stimulate students'interest in scientific inquiry.Part ?:Investigation on the current situation of chemical experiment teaching in primary school science.Through interviews with some science teachers in Xixia District,it is found that the current situation of the implementation of science teaching is not very ideal.Lack of teachers,large class teaching,school hardware facilities,assessment system and other issues lead to the fact that science courses can not effectively cultivate students'scientiflc literacy.For chemical experiments in primary school science,most of them are more operable,while a small part is less feasible because of safety,complex operation,non-intuitive phenomena and other factors.In addition,through the investigation of students'chemical knowledge cognition in A and B schools,it is found that students in A school with better scientific management model have higher chemical knowledge than those in B school.Part ?:Design and implementation of chemical experiment in primary school science.Firstly,chemical experiments with low feasibility("air occupying space,heat transfer,exploring gas dissolution ability"etc.)in the current science and education edition of primary school "Science" textbooks are improved.Secondly,"fruit battery","water-absorbing cup","self-expanding balloon" and other small experiments of chemical science popularization were developed,and some experiments were selected to carry on the teaching practiee,so as to obtain the unanimous approval of students and teachers.Finally,the above experiments are compiled into school-based science textbooks to help students better understand the popular science knowledge of chemistry.Part ?:Research conclusions and prospects.Through interviews with teachers and analysis of the survey results of students in schools A and B,it is found that the scientific management model of school A is more suitable for Science Teaching in this area.On this basis,this paper also puts forward corresponding suggestions from three aspects:the implementation of science curriculum,the construction of teachers'team and the compilation and use of teaching materials,hoping to be helpful to the teaching of science teachers and the cultivation of students' scientific literacy.In view of the current situation of poor implementation of primary school science curriculum,it is not only for school teachers to improve and develop new teaching resources,but also for the active cooperation of the state,society and parents,so as to create a good science learning environment for students and achieve the goal of cultivating their scientific literacy.
