According to the requirements of research-based course guide for primary and secondary schools in Shanghai,the inquiry type of school-based curriculu m for Junior middle school chemistry is developed and conducted,in order to t rain their capacity for scientific research.This reform and innovative curriculu m is firstly explored by me.Amodel of school-based curriculum for inquiry type of junior middle scho ol chemistry has been tentatively fabricated by constructivism theory,Dewey's learning by doing and piaget's cognitive psychology as well as my own teachi ng experience,so that I develop this school-based course,to Improve the students' scientific research ability.For this,I conduct some works following as:The inquiry type of school-based curriculum for Junior middle school che mistry has been developed,including 5 sections such as the formulation of curriculum goal,selection of curriculum content,writing teaching material,course characteristics and their evaluation.The teaching material contents are for the introduction class,experiment improvement of charcoal adsorption,preparation improvement of carbon dioxide and scientific research.The characteristics of the course are openness,practice and research.Course practice is divided into import,the full guidance of scientific research,half guidance of scientific research and the full autonomy research.Practice results show that the students' ability to ask questions,to solve the actual problem ability and the ability to write research essay has improved significantly.This paper written is limited by my research time,so that the scientific res earch of other research methods cannot be tried to conduct,and will be further studied in my work.
