A Study On The Strategy Of Improving The Teaching Effect Of Chinese Language Activity In Junior Middle School

The language activity course for junior middle school is to carry out a series of activities which are planned,organized,interest-based,student-centered and of diversities at the junior high school stage to obtain direct experience and immediate information.Carrying out effective activities can promote the students' interest in language learning and the development of students' intelligence and personality.And it is helpful to cultivate students' innovative spirit and practical ability,responsible for improving students' language literacy as well.However,during the internship in the middle school,the author found that the language activity course generally did not achieve the desired goal,so under the guidance of the instructor,the author carried out an in-depth study on middle school language teaching activities to figure out problems and relative reasons.Based on the relative theoretical knowledge of the activities,combined with the author's field teaching practice as well,the author proposes some principles and strategies,hoping to make contributions to exploring junior high school language activities.This thesis includes the following five parts:Part I: Introduction.This part mainly elaborates the research background of this thesis,summarizes the research of Chinese activity class,figures out the significance of this research as well as the connotation and function of carrying out language activity in junior middle school.Part II: Analysis for the problems and relative reasons on the current junior middle school language activities teaching.Taking the students of the first,second and third year,language teacher and parents in the middle schools of Changbei in Nanchang as samples,the author carried out several surveys.Survey methods includes questionnaire,interview and observation of teaching practice to analyze and summarize the problems as the following five ones: First,the language teachers don't pay enough attention to the language activity class,Second,time for the language activity class is limited,Third,design of teaching module is not scientific enough,Forth,base construction for hardware and software is not perfect,Fifth,parents do not stand by the new language teaching methods.From the survey data analysis of theabove five problems,the author summarizes reasons as the following four parts: First,the language teachers did not take language training courses,Second,both teachers and parents ignore the language activities,Third,school is lack of language activities class equipment and other necessary conditions,Forth.language teachers for language activities didn't carry out in appropriate ways.Part III:Principle for improving the teaching effect of language activity.The author combined the education theory with teaching practice and summarized five principles:Firstly,activity contents of flexibility and diversity;Secondly,interest-based activity forms;Thirdly,proper number of activities.;Forth,ensures the language activity is in harmony with the Chinese basic course;Fifth,unifies subjectivity of the students with leadership of the teachers.Part IV:Strategy for improving the teaching effect of language activity.Aimed at the reality of development of the language activity,we have put forward 12 practical and feasible countermeasures from four aspects including the school,teachers,students and parents.As for school:Firstly,to constitute a evaluation system for junior middle school language lesson.Secondly,to improve teaching conditions of Chinese curriculum for the junior middle school.Thirdly,to attach great importance to training of the teachers about Chinese activity course.As for teachers: Firstly,Updating the teaching idea,and to pay attention to the language activities.Secondly,to improve the teaching ability and to optimize the content.Thirdly,to pay attention to their own ability and to carry out activity of varieties.As for students,Firstly,to establish a correct concept about language activity.Secondly,to exert their principal action.Thirdly,to cultivate students' talent in many aspects.As for parents,Firstly,to set up scientific family education concept and stand by the language activity.Secondly,to take reasonable family education to participate in the language activity.Thirdly,to cooperate close with school and to test the language activity.Part V:Implementation of concrete cases.After activity theory study,the author practiced and improved the teaching of “the recount of rain” and “the Bole and Chollima” in the school,which shall give full play to the practical significance of theoretical knowledge.
