With the continuous research on key competencies,Chinese researchers have put forward the connotation of the key competencies of Chinese students.The development of the key competencies of students has become an,important training target for all subjects.Based on the learning of modeling instruction,students can continuously promote the formation of life concepts,develop scientific thinking,optimize scientific inquiry methods,and enhance social responsibility awareness.Therefore,modeling teaching based on model and modeling can promote the achievement of key competencies of biology.This study firstly organizes the concepts,theories and research status of modeling instruction and the key competencies of biology disciplines through literature method,summarizes the general steps of modeling instruction,and proposes how to use modeling teaching to develop the key competencies of biology disciplines.Then,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the status quo of modeling teaching.,mainly from the "teacher's understanding of model and modeling,teacher's understanding of modeling instruction,The understanding of the key competencies of biology disciplines and the status quo of modeling instruction in practical teaching is carried out".Statistical analysis shows that most teachers have more accurate knowledge of models and modeling,and there are some deviations.One of the reasons may be that the corresponding modeling cases are less practiced,which leads to the vague knowledge of the basic knowledge;most teachers recognize the necessity and role of modeling instruction in the biology class,The significance of the key competencies of the discipline is recognized,and teachers are willing to teach modeling,but Most teachers are unskilled in the process of modeling teaching,the application frequency is not high,and the emphasis on modeling teaching is not enough,the ability is insufficient,and their understanding is not enough;tThen for the status quo,through case analysis method,and based on construction The general steps of modeling instruction,selecting the classic teaching content,involves constructing mathematical models,physical models,conceptual models and other different types,focusing on the formation of"life concept",focusing on"scientific thinking"training,focusing on"scientific inquiry"mode optimization,Focusing on the four dimensions of "social responsibility" to carry out teaching design and case analysis and summarization,Intuitively tell high school biology teachers how to use the modeling instruction to develop the key competencies of biology disciplines;Finally,the paper summarizes and proposes the modeling instruction design suggestions based on tthe key competencies of biology disciplines.Due to the limitations of personal ability time and other conditions,this study still has some shortcomings and looks forward to further improvement in the future.
