School belonging is reflected not only in the students' recognition of the school at the psychological level,such as consciousness and emotion,but also in the students'commitment and action to the school.It is a kind of emotion that students recognize the school and take the initiative to participate in,integrate into the campus study life and undertake their due responsibilities and obligations.The sense of school belonging has an important impact on enhancing students'learning motivation,promoting academic achievement,reducing problem behavior and promoting the development of physical and mental health.Good peer relationship and positive self-concept are conducive to the formation of a high level of school belonging.The purpose of this study was to explore group counseling programs that can enhance students'sense of belonging to school,and to test the effect of intervention.In the first study,559 subjects from five grades of two middle schools in Wuhan were investigated with the School Attribution scale,the Children and adolescents Peer relationship scale and the Tennessee self-concept scale.To understand the general situation of middle school students'sense of school belonging and its related factors,and to prepare for the intervention study.The second study first formulated the regiment auxiliary program,the two themes of the Mission's auxiliary programme are "improving self-concept" and "improving peer relationship",in which the theme of "improving peer relationship" is the main theme,and the theme of "improving self-concept" is supplemented by the theme of "improving self-concept".which intends to improve students' sense of school belonging by intervening students' self-concept and peer relationship.Then 40 students with poor sense of belonging to the school were selected from the subjects of study 1 and divided into intervention group and control group,and 20 students in the intervention group were given group psychological counseling intervention for 8 times.Twenty students in the control group watched foreign historical documentaries.the results of the study are as follows:1.The level of school belonging of middle school students is generally on the upper middle level.in this study,there are no significant differences in demographic variables such as sex,grade,whether the only child and the place of study.2.Middle school students'sense of school belonging was positively correlated with self-concept(r=0.68,P<0.01),and middle school students' sense of school belonging was positively correlated with peer relationship level(r=0.65,P<0.01),there was a significant positive correlation between middle school students' self-concept and peer relationship level(r=0.67,P<0.01).The self-concept of middle school students was the same as that of middle school students.Some mediators between partnership and school belonging were significant(?=0.30).3.After group psychological counseling,the interaction effect was significant F(1,38)=48.85,P<0.001 in school belonging,F(1,38)=11.76,P<0.001 in self-concept,In peer relationship,the interaction effect was significant F(1,38)= 11.23,P<0.001.This group psychological counseling can significantly improve the peer relationship of senior high school students,improve their self-concept level,and then improve the level of high school students' sense of school belonging.
