This study use the "positive psychological quality of primary and secondary schools questionnaire" and "group belonging questionnaire" to investigate the positive psychological quality and group belonging of 780 students from junior grade 1 to senior in Jinjiang city, Fujian province. The result showed:(1) The positive psychological qualities (especially on the kindness and transcendenting ego) of the high school students work well.(2) The group belonging of students in Jinjiang city was low. The top 3 dimensions were:active engagement, degree of group tender feeling and self-feeling of integrate into group. The lowest score of group belonging was agreement of group.(3) There was a significant differences of positive psychological quality in sex, grade, school, school type, the only child at home or not, family economy, the education background of parents, family background and the performance in school.(4) There were significant differences of group belonging in sex, only child or not, the location of school, school type, family economy, education background of parents, family background and the performance in school.(5) There was a positive correlation between positive psychological and group belonging.(6) The regression of positive psychological quality and group belongings showed that positive psychological quality can predict the group belonging.
