Time and space are the fundamental elements of the subject of history.Time-space concept is not only the inherent requirement of the standard of history curriculum,but also the necessary condition for cultivating history core quality.The research on the concept of time and space in the history teaching of high school has been widely paid attention to with the curriculum reform and the concept of "core quality" going deeper.More and more researchers and insight realize that the cultivation of time-space concept in high school history teaching is not only the basic requirement of learning history,but also an important project throughout the whole high school history teaching.The cultivation of students' quality of time-space concept has become the goal of the development of the subject of history under the modern background that the curriculum reform of basic education are constantly going deeper.The introduction part of the paper analyzes the background and practical significance of cultivating students' time-space concept in high school history teaching and collects the relevant research results ofacademia on the concept of historical time and space,and thus establishes the research foundation of the paper.The body consists of five parts: the first part defines the concept of time and space of history and illustrates the basic content of time-space concept;the second part focuses on the core quality of the concept tested concretely in the college entrance exams over recent years;the third part analyzes the problems and reasons that teachers and textbooks exist by investigating the cultivation conditions of teaching the concept of history in high school;the fourth part,based on the problems and demands found in the college entrance exams and questionnaires,analyzes the cultivation strategies of the concept in history teaching of high school from multiple viewpoints and is hoped to be useful to history teaching under the new curriculum reform;the fifth part designs a instructional design for history teachers' reference based on the training strategies of time-space concept in the future history teaching.
