| 2017 General Senior High School Biology Curriculum Standard(referred to as the "Standard")focuses on the students’ initiative learning.Case teaching methods can help students to learn by themselves.It is an effective teaching method which conforms to the teaching philosophy of student-centered.The core purpose of this research is to develop case resources for the case study method of the high biology "Molecular and Cell" module.The developed cases are used to explore the impact of case teaching methods on students’ learning ability and initiative learning.The writer collects possible resources by a variety of ways,such as looking up literature,newspapers and periodicals,reading bio-teaching books,surfing on the Internet,and practicing in daily life.Then it’s time to explore the theoretical guidance for the development of case teaching resources under the guidance of curriculum standards and syllabus.Finally,the case resources are developed and presented and they are based on the principles of purpose,science,openness,interest,adaptability,streamlining and timeliness.The writer compares and analyzes the data,one is the mid-term grades of two normal-level classes and the other is the pre-test data of the learning initiative questionnaires.Then the writer selects one experimental class and one normal class if they are of insignificant difference randomly.Case teaching method is used in the experimental class.While the traditional teaching method is used in the normal class for teaching research.The study lasts half a semester.After the final exam,through the comparison between the test scores and the students’ learning initiative questionnairesscores between the classes,it is concluded that the case teaching method is conducive to enhancing students’ initiative learning.It is conducive to improving students’ learning ability,too.This study enriches the case of high school biology case teaching method and provides an empirical reference for the practical study of case teaching methods.The case teaching method conforms to the modern educational teaching concept.It will be widely applied in teaching in the future.The case is the core guarantee for the effectiveness of the case teaching method.I hope that people from all walks of life can work together to strengthen the development of case resources. |
