Study On Developing Environment Education In Biology Teaching For Senior Students

In the thesis, by means of studies on complicate and urgent features of environment problems, under the guideline of theories of environmental education.The author has carried out teaching practices of environment education in biology teaching in a senior high school .On the base of analyzing the test result,the author has put forward a series of new methods for making quality education realizable. This thesis is composed of five parts:1. Overview of environment education.It include the historical background, concept, purpose and theory foundation of environment education to carry out environment education.2. The necessity and feasibility to arrange environment education in biological teaching in senior high school. By expounding the following topics, the author proved it is quite necessary and feasible to carry on environment education in biological teaching in senior middle school:. Biology and the environment.Biology education and environment education.Quality education and environment education3. The paths and methods of environment education are carried out in biology teaching in senior high school.According to teaching goal of environment education in the new teaching synopsis of senior biology subject, the content of environment education is composed of three parts :Education of environment knowledge and cognition is permeated via combination with contents of textbooks.Education of environment practical skill is mainly trained by special topics style of interaction teaching.Education of environment altitude should be cultivated by dilemma teaching method.4. Experimental study of environment education has been done by the author in biology teaching practices in senior high school .The author has distinctively carried out 96 classes' teaching practice in the senior high school of Lanzhou Liancheng aluminium plant from August 27 , 2003 to June10 ,2004.5.Several proposals and opinions for developing environment education. According to study.the author has put forward some ideas for carrying out environment education.
