In recent years,the group of widows has grown with the younger age of severe diseases and the frequency of safety accidents.Widows in vulnerable groups have experienced enormous psychological and physical trauma in the face of the death of their spouses,who share difficulties and difficulties.Their social support networks have changed and their social roles have changed accordingly.The resulting adaptation problems are increasing.Widowhood in middle age,knowledge is still increasing and experience is increasing,but physical functions and physical strength are declining.In the specific living environment of the city,How to use the advantages of geography,resources and other advantages to enable widows in the middle of life to quickly adapt to the life after widowhood,actively adjust their mentality,get out of sadness,and regain their confidence in life is worthy of social attention and research.This study used the interview method,participating in observation methods,questionnaires and other professional methods to collect data and analyze many middle-aged widows in F community in Xiangtan City.It is found that the adaptation problems of middle-aged widows in urban areas are mainly reflected in physiological,psychological,social relations and economic stress.Adaptation is largely influenced by the individual,family,cultural and social factors of widows.Based on the theory of social support and the dominant angle of view,this study takes case work as the main service method,and selects a widow in the F community as the object of intervention.After fully understanding the inner and life problems of the case owner,the author completed three stages of service goals through ten intervention services,and used the table to evaluate the service goals after the completion of the successful completion of the case.Finally,the research summarizes the experience of social work services in this group,and proposes four intervention strategies: self-cognitive reconstruction of widows,effective use of family support,social support network construction,and advocacy of national policy support.The author hopes that this study will enable all levels of society to pay more attention to the urban middle-aged widowhood as a special group,and at the same time for the group to explore a more appropriate service methods and do their own modest help.
