A Study Of Case Work Methods To Improve The Life Quality Of Middle-aged Widows In Rural Areas

In recent years,China's economy has been developing rapidly and the society has been constantly transformed.At the same time,it is facing problems such as imbalance between urban and rural development.Compared with cities,rural development is slow and people's ideas are relatively backward.So there is a “special group”--middle-aged widows who are always in a weak position.Although many women can live a strong life for the sake of their children after the death of a spouse.But due to the stereotyped ideas of rural people,many women in the middle age can no longer continue to find their own love after the death of a spouse while children are away at school,at work,or start a new family in other places leaving their mother at home lonely.These women are reduced greatly in psychological and spiritual capacity.Besides,many conservative ideas make them feel lonely and always cry soundlessly.If things go on like this,there will be some problems in physical and the quality of life will be down.With the development of social work,people gradually focus on this kind of women.Therefore,the author use case from the perspective of social work methods,combined with the questionnaire method and interview method to collect and organize related information,analyzing the problems faced by rural middle-aged widowed women including economic,spirit,family,relationship and the life.The author hope that he can help these four widows at T village in Linxi county to change their living actuality and improve the quality of life by using the professional knowing and skills he has accumulated in social work.This article mainly includes the introduction and six chapter,in total seven parts:The first part is the introduction.In this part,the author first introduce the background and significance of the research.Secondly,the problems,goals and significance of the research are defined.Finally,the three innovation points of this paper are introduced.The first chapter mainly focuses on the literature review and research direction.The author first finds the domestic and foreign scholars' achievements in the field ofresearch,followed by a comprehensive analysis of these research results and draws conclusions.Based on this,the author combines with their own ideas and analysis to determine their own research.The second chapter mainly defines concept of related nouns and points out the theoretical basis of this thesis.The third chapter mainly discusses the research methods used and the basis of the service objects selected in this paper.The research methods include case work,questionnaire method and interview method,which can lay a good foundation for effective social work.The fourth chapter mainly introduces the problems that may exist in the lives of middle-aged women in rural areas and the causes of their problems.According to the description of the present situation,readers can have a better understanding of the description of the present situation,which can also help the author to provide more powerful help.The fifth chapter mainly deals with the specific interventions from the six cases of receiving cases to closing cases,which also use questionnaire,demand scale and some graphs.It can let readers know more clear about the common problems and needs of this kind of group.As a result,they will be provided more help and concern.The sixth chapter introduces the conclusions of this study and related countermeasures and suggestions.
