In the current senior high school students' Chinese reading learning,shallow reading,fragment reading,light reading,and no reading are long-term and ubiquitous phenomena.Because of the characteristics of privacy,concealment and uncontrollability of reading activities,it is relatively difficult to find and solve problems,which makes the quality of reading teaching difficult to obtain substantial improvement.Reading teaching has become a difficult problem for Chinese teachers.In order to improve this reading situation,many efforts have been made by academia and education circles in recent years.The 2017 edition of the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools lists the whole book reading and discussion as a new course content.The existing research on teaching methods of "whole book reading" is mostly a case study of a single masterpiece and mostly talks about a part of the teaching process.Starting from the generality of classical fiction works,this paper conducts a complete study of the whole book reading teaching of fiction,providing some new ideas,methods and paradigms for the whole book reading teaching of high school fiction,in order to promote the implementation of the "whole book reading" learning task group.The thesis consists of four parts:introduction,body,conclusion and appendix.The body is divided into four chapters.The introduction part elaborates the research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods,innovations and the concepts of "whole book" and "whole book reading".The first chapter discusses the theoretical basis of "whole book reading".It illustrates the contemporary context of "whole book reading" from the direct requirements of learning task group,the inevitable demands of meaningful learning,the real needs of original reading and the internal drive of cognitive development,and illustrates the necessity of"whole book reading" implementation from the shortcomings of single reading teaching and excerpts teaching.Systematic theory and cultural criticism theory are the theoretical support to carry out the teaching of "whole book reading".The second chapter discusses the teaching contents and Strategies of the whole book reading teaching of high school fiction,choosing the teaching contents reasonably based on the system theory and cultural criticism theory,and carrying out the whole book reading from four aspects:original ecological reading,speculative reading and writing,comparative reading and cross-border reading.Chapter three discusses the five curriculum forms of reading teaching of the whole book of novel in senior high school:reading guidance,self-reading,guidance,communication and exhibition.It elaborates the feedback form of students about the reading effect of the whole book of novel and teachers' self-evaluation in the process of reading teaching.Chapter IV mainly discusses the significance of reading teaching of high school fiction books from three aspects of cognition,aesthetics and education.In the near future,the whole book reading will realize the integration of curriculum,the enlargement of reading groups and the diversification of reading methods.The teaching reflection is carried out from four aspects:improving the professional quality of teachers,paying attention to the individualized reading of students,cultivating the interest of literature in the era of reading pictures and exploring the proposition form of "whole book reading".The concluding part summarizes the practical significance and basic reading paradigm of the whole reading teaching of high school fiction.Appendix is a specific case design of the content described in the text.It takes "The Old Man and the Sea" as an example to design the teaching practice of reading the whole novel.Based on systematic theory and cultural criticism,the thesis uses the document searching method,historical research method and case analysis method,to break through the teaching mode of the novel case and carry out the teaching research of the whole book reading.
