Educators have long advocated that students read the entire book for a holistic and profound reading experience.The Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools(2017 edition)was promulgated,and the whole book reading immediately gained wide attention from all walks of life."The whole book reading and discussion" as a separate learning task group appears in the curriculum standard,which means that it will be carried out systematically and systematically in class as an organic part of Chinese teaching.The author referred to the recommended reading list of the new curriculum standard of senior high school in 2017,and took the novel romance of The Three Kingdoms,China's first full-length historical novel in chapter and hui style,as the reading teaching bibliography of the whole book,and assisted the internship instructor to carry out a complete teaching practice in the second year of senior high school,and gained some results at the same time.This paper mainly discusses from four aspects,in order to provide a set of appropriate reading teaching plan for frontline teachers to use for reference and realize the value of reading teaching through the research on the reading teaching practice of the whole book romance of The Three Kingdoms.The first chapter defines the whole book reading teaching and the whole book reading teaching of high school full-length novels,and analyzes the connotation of the whole book reading teaching and the teaching of single short chapter reading and extracurricular reading teaching.The second chapter elaborates the theoretical basis of the whole book reading teaching of high school full-length novels,including brain science theory,gestalt theory and learning pyramid theory.At the same time,this paper expounds the value of the whole book reading teaching of high school full-length novels,including cultivating students' good reading habits,improving students' reading ability and enriching students' thoughts and feelings.The third chapter discusses the feasible teaching strategies and students' learning strategies in the process of the whole book reading teaching of high school full-length novels.Teachers'teaching strategies are developed from the following four aspects:first,teachers should read first;second,teachers should provide appropriate reading methods for students to use for reference;third,teachers should teach students to master systematic conceptual relationship diagrams;fourth,teachers should teach students to understand texts from multiple perspectives.Students'learning strategies include four aspects:self-reading after class,associative thinking,communication and discussion,and expansion and extension.The fourth chapter presents the whole process of reading teaching of the romance of The Three Kingdoms,including the selection of bibliography,the class planning before the whole book reading teaching,all kinds of reading activities in the reading teaching,and the teacher correcting students' essay works after reading teaching.Based on the presentation of the main content of reading teaching activities in the whole book romance of The Three Kingdoms,this paper finally analyzes the teaching strategies of teachers and students in the reading teaching process,so as to play a verification role.
