Through analysis of recommmendated reading list from junior high Chinese textbook published Ministry of Educationby,this study mainly focused on discussing junior high school reading teaching strategy under full-book reading phyllosophy and attempts to improve sliced reading and inaduquent reading problems among junior high students so as to advance students' Chinese language competencies.The study consists of introduction and three chapters as main body.The fist chapter introduced the main concepts covered in this paper: whole-book,whole-book reading strategy,teaching strategy;propose the relationship between whole-book reading strategy,after-class reading and classical book reading;elaborate the theory and rational behind whole-book strategy and concluded with fasibility analysis of whole-book reading strategy from teaching perspective.The second chapter analynized the current situation and existing problems in whole-book reading teaching practices and then discussed whole-book reading strategy,divided by strategy for aggregating whole-book reading and curriculum textbook and whole-book reading implementation strategy.Whole-book reading implementation strategy will be explained in detail in chapter three.The section of how to combine whole-book reading,curriculum and textbook consists of(a)exploring teaching goal,learning goals,curriculum content,class teaching methodology and after-class exercise for whole-book reading;(b)discussing two strategies about how to achive combination between whole-book reading and textbook: through self-reading textbook and classical reading book.The third chapter explained reading teaching strategy from detail perspective of two strategies-how to combine whole-book reading with textbook.The first strategy-transfroming self-reading textbook as bridge to whole-book reading was illustrated by “Long Road”.The second strategy-transforming classical reading habbit to whole-book reading habbit was explained by the example book “I am a cat”.
