Because of the visual image,close to the life of the picture and brief beautiful language,the picture book is suitable for children's cognitive characteristics and reading needs.It has become an important form and means of early childhood reading.In this case study,the author summarized the research results of picture book reading both at home and abroad by using the method of literature review,and selected the type of picture book,which was unique in genre and less studied.Based on interviews with 31 kindergarten teachers,the author used the method of event sampling to observe the prose picture book of reading activities in Kindergarten H,and found that it was teachers' misunderstanding of the prose class picture books which causes the neglect of that kind of books in the actual teaching.Due to lack of core experience,in the process of teaching with prose picture books,teacher usually improperedtarget,used single mode in class,organize activities out of line.So that the purpose and value of teaching in prose picture books can not be achieved.Aiming at those problems,this research focus on characteristics and values of teaching with prose picture book in early reading,discussed the basis of content selectionandthe strategy of goal setting.By selecting the junior,middle and senior classes in Kindergarten H as the research field,the author conducted an action research on the organization and implementation of the prose reading teaching with the cooperative teachers.This research showed that there was great value for the development of children's thinking,the improvement of children's language expression abilities,the cultivation of children's sentiment,and the development of children's horizons.In the teaching of reading activities of prose picture book,according to the age characteristics and the interest to select the material.Based on the detailed analysis of readers accurately grasp the core experience prose of picture books,combined with the children's existing experience and learning characteristics of the specific target picture book core experience into reading teaching activities.Teaching of prose picture books reading could be introduced through the music methods,game methods and mystery of grammar,scene reproduction method,and so on.For the organization of the basic part of the reading teaching activities,this study on the multiple ways of reading,understanding the depth of the picture book content;setting up questions,to accurately understand the connotation of prose;collocation of fun games,learning beautiful vocabulary;mobilize multiple senses,feelings of prose development experience and imagination;creating new beautiful prose guiding strategies.This research pointed out that through the chanting prose and feeling it;organizing reading points in the next time where buried a foreshadowing;providing related books,reading other forms as an over way of prose picture books reading activities.
