High School Whole Book Reading Teaching Inquiry

With the advancement of the new curriculum reform,the Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary high schools(2017 edition)clearly put forward the course content of "learning task group",and integrated "the whole book reading and discussion" into the reading teaching as an important task group.However,due to the characteristics of the whole book and the limitation of the inherent teaching environment,the whole book reading is faced with many difficulties in the process of teaching promotion.The author thinks that conversational reading teaching is a feasible and effective way to read the whole book.On the basis of multi-dimensional interaction between teachers,students and texts,the teaching of dialogical reading takes into account both the reading and teaching to teachers and students.It can not only strengthen the practicality of the new curriculum reform,improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching,but also promote the upgrading of traditional reading and cultivate students' lifelong reading habits.Therefore,combined with the content of the new curriculum reform,the author tries to explore how the conversational reading teaching can better promote the reading of the whole book.Firstly,this paper discusses several basic issues:the concept of conversational reading teaching,the status quo of conversational reading teaching in high school,the concept and characteristics of whole book reading.To clarify the important concepts,grasp the basic characteristics,and clarify the key points and difficulties in the implementation of current reading teaching.Secondly,in the context of the whole book,the teaching method of conversational reading is feasible and has its teaching principles.By discussing the relationship between conversational reading and the reading of the whole book,the author makes an analysis of representative teaching cases to demonstrate the consistency and effectiveness.While reading the whole book in the curriculum,we should pay attention to grasp the degree,not too structured,to leave enough room for students to personalized and differentiated reading and learning.Therefore,in the implementation of conversational reading teaching,the three links of pre-class preparation,instructional design,and instructional evaluation all need special emphasis.Thirdly,based on the whole book reading,the author tries to construct basic model of conversational reading teaching.This paper discusses the construction of teaching mode through five progressive steps:classifying reading,selecting dialogue materials,designing core questions,organizing learning activities,and paying attention to the display of reading results.At the same time,the typical teaching cases under this mode are analyzed and the reading effect is evaluated,so as to put forward Suggestions for improvement,so as to promote the effective implementation of the conversational reading teaching mode under the whole book reading learning task group.
