The ethnic 'Double Third Day' legend of Li nationality in Hainan Province has widely and profound significance.It's the unique and valuable ethnic literary heritage in Hainan Province with huge exploring potential.Fully exploring the inherent value of'Double Third Day' legend and building up a far-reaching promotional platform has become a kind of new method to carry forward such valuable ethnic literary theme,and it has also acted as an effective method to enrich the ethnic school-based curriculum.On the base of the research on contents and types of 'Double Third Day' legend,this paper uses ethnic literary resources of 'Double Third Day' legend to develop the school-based curriculum and researches the design and application of 'Double Third Day' legend school-based curriculum.The theme of the design and exploration of this paper is to promote the development of students.The paper integrates with local developing demands of Haikou to build up the curriculum form which takes social practice as the foundation for students of junior high school.The purpose is to take further advantages of local ethnic culture to develop the textbooks of school-based curriculum,to make the Chinese education closer to the essence of life,and to cultivate students in a comprehensive and coordinated way.The present article included three parts:introduction,main body,and conclusion.The main body included the following three chapters:The first chapter introduced the connotation of the research object,previous studies,and the types and educational significance of the 'Double Third Day' legend.The present article began with the definitions of folklore and school-based curriculum and analyzed the research bases of scholars at home and abroad on folklore and school-based curriculum;secondly,divided the classifications of the 'Double Third Day' legend into ancestor worship and source tracing,getting rid of the cruel and pacifying the good people,and praising love and on this basis elaborated on the significance of the'Double Third Day' legend school-based curriculum in text learning,humanistic education value,and practical activities.The second chapter introduced the development plan of the 'Double Third Day'legend school-based curriculum.The course was based on the ideas of being close to life,embodying local characteristics and emphasizing learning effects;specific programs for textbook compilation included textbook stylistic rules and layout,unit settings,and the specific design of teaching contents and focused on the time arrangement and contents of practical activities.The third chapter introduced the practical cases of the 'Double Third Day' legend school-based curriculum.The implementation strategy and classroom application of the school-based curriculium were expounded from five perspectives including the first meeting of the teacher and the students,text-based drama performance,imitative writing of characters and plots,theme debates,and course evaluation.In short,the author explored a new path for standardizing the development and management of school-based curriculum through analyzing educational resources inside and outside the school and the demand shift of students during the organization and implementation of the course focusing on the mission of the school and based on the traditions and advantages of the school.The author strived to narrate the connotation features and learning ideas that could folly demonstrate the 'Double Third Day,legend,guide the students to summarize the learning experience on their own,and collect students' evaluative opinions through questionnaires after class.The course promotes the inheritance and promotion of the 'Double Third Day' legend of the students,drives the students to understand the local customs and practices of Li nationality,helps them study and grow in a familiar environment,and thus cultivates the civic consciousness and social responsibilities of the students.
