In recent years, the training of the imagination who is more and more value to schooling, both teaching material compiling and teaching method are displayed the deficient training. As a teacher, we should search for method forwardly to strengthen the students' imagination. And that Chinese ancient mythology and legend is a powerful tool for training imagination of students.The definition of myth separates the broad sense and narrow sense all through the ages, the broad sense is discussed mainly is in this text, mixing with "legend". The myth is passed from mouth to mouth original run to accepted by literature, and get into each department of literature, it had a profound effect on literature and culture of aftertime. When myth come into the literature work, the litterateurs made a copiously picking and transforming for it, and carried on processing to the myth details with reformation, come into being supernatural image and fantastic scenario, it took myth thinking to become various literature styles, especially as works of Chuang-tzu, Qu Yuan, Li Bai et al, we picked up something like, myth thinking make the literature work filled with the ideations of space explode and same as celestial being, imaginative and not sick to one pattern expressive technique such as exaggeration and analogy. The myth, legend, literature work and imagination are interrelated and affect each other.We should value the fabulous composition in the related literature work, looking for the idiographic method to train the students' imagination from it, and guide the students have a myth type state and ideation. To guide a mythical psychology for student, build a imagination atmosphere, accumulate imagination material, bring up "myth character", laying the foundation for the imagination's development. To train the mythical ideation of students, reappearance imagination reformation idea, unite as one, creation imagination faced to unknown world. Also need to endow logos with imagination.In teaching, we should insist long-standing to search for method to train student's imagination.
