This research collects a large amount of related documents and material both home and abroad about micro-video teaching.Although micro-video teaching is developing rapidly at present,most of the study remains theoretical rather than practical.There is little research in practice.In regard of this situation,the researcher does research on the feasibility and practicability of applying micro-video teaching to high school biology teaching in order to solve students' problems of lacking the interest and weak ability of independent study.This paper includes six chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the background,current situation,significance,methods of the study.The second chapter defines the concepts of micro-video,micro-video teaching and revision teaching.It is in this chapter that the theoretical basis is chosen.In chapter three,the researcher learns the problems of the revision of biology and the difficulty of applying the micro-video teaching to high school biology teaching by means of questionnaires and interviews.From the research,conclusion can be drawn that it is necessary to introduce micro-video teaching to high school biology revision teaching.In chapter four,it is pointed out that the design of micro-video and the procedures of making one include analysis,design,development,implementation and evaluation under the guidance of ADDIE.In chapter five,it demonstrates how to put the theory of micro-video teaching into practice.There are three cases introducing different process of making micro-video with different facilities.Chapter six is about the presentation of micro-video teaching applied to high school biology teaching and the final evaluation of the result.The researcher applies the micro-video teaching to high school biology revision teaching and comes to the conclusion that it is effective by the comparison between the experimental group and the control group.In chapter seven,the researcher concludes and reflects the whole study,and discusses its prospects of development and application.
