The new mathematics curriculum standard of compulsory education pays special attention to the development of students' application consciousness and innovation consciousness,and one of the necessary means to enhance this quality is to cultivate students' creative thinking and creativity.Nowadays,traditional educational ideas are still exist in mathematics education,which fail to activate students' innovative thinking and cultivate students' innovative thinking.Talents with innovative thinking and creative ability are the demands of the era development.How to train students through innovative curriculum reform has become an urgent problem to be solved.This paper is mainly divided into four parts,the elementary school mathematics curriculum and the rise of the "Steam Math" creative curriculum overview,analysis of the"Steam Math " curriculum origin,construction,effectiveness and problems.By taking a school as an example to estimate the status quo of the implementation of primary school mathematics curriculum analysis leads to the "Steam Math" curriculum for primary school mathematics curriculum reform reference.On the basis of the study of introducing "Steam Math" into primary school mathematics,we explores the localization development and integration scheme of "Steam Math" curriculum,including the localization development and transformation,and how to integrate the curriculum into the national primary school mathematics curriculum system,how to play the role of " Steam Math " curriculum in fostering pupils' creative thinking,as well.Besides,mainly explores the school-based implementation and management of"Steam Math" curriculum,including the implementation of the target positioning,curriculum design,teaching methods,and specific examples of implementation.In the aspect of school-based management,it studies the school-based management organization of curriculum,experimental class management,teacher training management,institutionalized management of teaching and research activities,and the management of evaluation system.The article analyzes the effect of the practice of "Steam Math" curriculum,summarize the experience of curriculum development,implementation and management,and draw a conclusion.While affirming the achievements of " Steam Math" course,the article reflects on the existing problems and put forward suggestions for improvement.
