Since the 18 th National Congress,under the background of the Party Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the core to promote the poverty alleviation including education and poverty alleviation,the number of poor people in China has decreased drastically.The per capita net income of rural areas in poverty-stricken areas has increased rapidly,and the incidence of poverty has continued to decline..The report of the 19 th National Congress pointed out that more than 60 million poor people in China have been out of poverty,and the incidence of poverty has dropped from 10.2% to 4%.The role of vocational education in poverty alleviation is becoming more and more prominent,and it is a way to reduce poverty that cannot be ignored.From the perspective of the regional heterogeneity of vocational education to reduce poverty,this paper studies the theoretical analysis of the differences in vocational education poverty reduction areas,empirical research and the combination of literature and research methods.This paper empirically tests the relationship between vocational education and poverty reduction by selecting panel data from 31 provinces in 2010-2016.This paper analyzes the empirical results and analyzes them from the national and eastern,middle and western levels.This has important implications for the realization of vocational education and anti-poverty.This article is discussed in six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly explains the basis of this paper and the research significance,research status,research methods,framework structure and innovations;The second chapter is the research status at home and abroad,mainly on education and poverty alleviation,vocational education poverty alleviation and vocational education and regional heterogeneity.The third chapter is the theoretical analysis of the regional heterogeneity of vocational education to reduce poverty.The theoretical analysis of the differences in the funding of vocational education,the difference between regional economy and industrial development,the difference between vocational education mode and the traditional concept of vocational education.The fourth chapter is the empirical test of regional differences in poverty alleviation in vocational education.The empirical results of the two aspects were analyzed from the national region and the eastern,central and western regions.The fifth chapter is the policy and recommendations.Corresponding countermeasures are proposed for the regional differences in poverty alleviation in vocational education.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and outlook.The article analyzes the regional heterogeneity of vocational education to reduce poverty.It uses macro data and has certain defects.Therefore,more microscopic data should be used for research in the future.The research in this paper differs from the current situation and the reasons for the reduction of poverty in vocational education.The empirical analysis shows that vocational education has different effects on poverty reduction among regions,that is,regional differences exist and are significant..However,overall vocational education is not significant for poverty reduction.Because the data on vocational education poverty reduction is relatively macroscopic,it is the inadequacy of the article.The direction of future research should be studied from micro household data.
