"What kind of people to train","How to train people" and "Who to train people" have always been fundamental issues in party and state education.The geography teaching mode is also an important part of the reform of geography curriculum in basic education in China.The study of geographical models is conducive to the process of geography curriculum reform,and has a positive significance for deepening the study of geography education reform and development.The examination,establishment,collation and comparative study of various geography teaching modes can provide reference for geography teachers to choose effective teaching modes,and also provide reference for geography teachers to organize and implement teaching activities.This study used literature research,experimental research,questionnaires and interviews.Through the review of the research status of teaching models at home and abroad,as well as the analysis of the geography teaching mode in China,the classification of the current mainstream geography teaching mode is summarized.And each type of geography teaching mode has chosen a specific variant to compare the teaching effects.They are the outline signal geography teaching mode,the geography teaching mode of the case study and Discovering geography teaching model.To sort out the research status of the above three teaching modes,find out the shortcomings of the current research,and provide direction and theoretical basis for this research.And summed up the main theoretical basis of each geography teaching model and the implementation of the teaching procedures,and then through the design of teaching cases for teaching implementation.Divide and interpret the content of the new curriculum standard "Geography 1" in 2017,and select the 1.4 this course standard to carry out the teaching case design of different geography teaching modes,through the design ideas of different geography teaching modes.And the implementation process further highlights the respective characteristics of these three different geography teaching models.In the experimental stage of this study,in the first year of a high school in Shenzhen,three classes with close basic ability levels were selected for a one-month teaching experiment.After the experiment,the teaching effects of three different geography teaching modes were compared and analyzed.The focus is on the analysis of experimental results from three aspects.The first is to conduct a questionnaire survey on students' interest in learning,motivation,classroom atmosphere,learning efficiency and teaching satisfaction.The second aspect is the scores of students from different classes,the passing rate and the scores of different types of questions.The results were analyzed.The third aspect was to analyze theinterview results of the teachers,interview the 9 geography teachers in the high school of the school,and summarize the interview results as a supplement to the research.Finally,the conclusions of this paper are drawn,and the advantages and disadvantages of the three geography teaching modes in this study and the problems existing in the teaching are summarized.From the questionnaire analysis,the applicability of three different geography teaching modes is drawn: the outline signal geography teaching mode and the case study geography teaching mode are suitable for students with poor geographical basis,and discovering geography teaching model is suitable for students with better geographical basis.From the score analysis,the applicability of different types of topics is derived: the outline signal geography teaching mode and the case study geography teaching mode are conducive to students' mastery of basic knowledge types,and it is found that discovering geography teaching model is conducive to students' ability-promoting type problems.The outline signal geography teaching mode and the case study geography teaching mode are beneficial to improve the pass rate of the class.It is found that the discovering geography teaching model does not significantly improve the pass rate of the class.From the analysis of teacher interview results,it is concluded that the teachers of the school usually like to adopt the case study geography teaching mode,but in this performance analysis,the best results are obtained by using the class that the discovering geography teaching model.It shows that the discovering geography teaching model is more suitable for the requirements of the new curriculum standard,and it is more conducive to cultivating students' geographical core literacy.It shows that teachers need to innovate teaching concepts and try to adopt new teaching modes in teaching.
