In the context of today's intelligent age,all citizens should improve their information quality. In response to the new curriculum reform of junior high school information technology and the process of information reform, the teaching methods and models of information technology courses in primary and secondary schools have been continuously explored. The task-driven approach has been widely applied in information technology courses, but according to the author observes that most of the teachers are only a single presentation and demonstration task, and then let the students complete the task.Such a monotonous teaching process has made students lose the space for self-exploration and play, and the classroom has become obscure.Students are not aware of the fun and charm of information technology courses. To further improve the efficiency and quality of teaching, and to explore the task design more suitable for information technology classrooms, the author carried out a task-driven experimental research on the application of junior high school information technology. This study firstly reviews the background, significance, methods, theoretical basis and content of the research, and grasps the background and current situation of the task-driven teaching method.Through the questionnaire survey and interviews between teachers and students, the current information technology teaching status and task-driven application in teaching were investigated.According to the existing teaching conditions and the characteristics of teachers and students, the task-driven teaching method was applied to the junior high school classroom.Principles and models summarize the general steps of task-driven teaching applied to junior high school information technology classrooms and conduct case teaching experiments. In the first class of the first grade of Shihezi No.8,the information technology level was pre-tested,and the SPSS software was used to analyze the significant differences of the independent sample T-test.Finally,the experimental and control classes for teaching experiments were finalized. The task-driven teaching method was adopted in the experimental class, and the traditional teaching method was adopted in the control class. Finally, the post-test results, classroom behavior and student satisfaction survey and analysis of the two classes were concluded, and the conclusion was drawn. The author finds that the use of task-driven teaching methods enhances the interest of teaching and greatly enhances the students' ability to learn independently and collaboratively. It truly realizes the overall development of students and the improvement of comprehensive ability. In the classroom, students want to achieve achievements. The intrinsic motivation makes students more interested in exploring knowledge, which greatly improves the quality and efficiency of teaching. It shows that the task-driven teaching mode can be applied to junior high school information technology teaching and has achieved certain effects.
