"The Biology Curriculum Standard of Junior High School" puts forward that students should "develop the habit of rational thinking"."The Core Quality of Chinese Students' Development" also points out that cultivating students' rational thinking is one of the tasks for them to become all-round human beings.This study explores the strategies of cultivating students' rational thinking from the perspective of biology teaching in junior middle school.The paper is divided into three parts.1.This study combs the meanings of thinking,rationality and rational thinking.It also points out that junior high school students' rational thinking also depends on perceptual materials and needs to be cultivated in accordance with the reality of life.2.Through the questionnaire survey method,this study clarifies the current situation of thinking of junior high school students from the two aspects of thinking ability and thinking tendency,and summarizes the characteristics of junior middle school students' biological rational thinking.In the way of thinking,the junior middle school students have been predominant in rational thinking.And the rational thinking ability of junior middle school boys is better than that of girls,but there is no obvious gender gap in the rational thinking tendency;the rational thinking tendency of junior second grade is stronger than that of junior first grade,but the rational thinking ability has no obvious advantage compared with that of junior first grade.The characteristics of junior middle school students' biological rational thinking are:(1)Junior middle school students' biological rational thinking is at the primary level;(2)Junior middle school students' comparison of information stays on the surface,and cannot find the deep-seated comparative standard of information;(3)Junior middle school students' weak consciousness of comprehensive analysis of more than two objects;(4)Junior middle school students abstractly generalize judgments or judgments based on observed biological phenomena.The ability of conclusion is weak;(5)Junior high school students' awareness of solving problems through modeling is not strong;(6)Students' critical consciousness is strong,but their critical ability is general.3.According to the results of the survey,this paper puts forward two strategies to cultivate students' rational thinking tendency:(1)Creating life situations and cultivating students' habit of finding problems;(2)Paying attention to the process of concept formation and cultivating students' habit of positive thinking.This paper also puts forward five strategies for cultivating students' rational thinking ability:(1)Carefully selecting materials to cultivate students' thinking of comparison and classification;(2)Skillfully using mind maps to cultivate students' thinking of analysis and synthesis;(3)Combining the reality of life,cultivating students' abstract and generalized thinking;(4)Screening teaching content,cultivating students' thinking of model and modeling;(5)Making use of the history of biology science cultivate students' critical thinking.Finally,the author puts forward the use of demonstration teaching to cultivate students' rational thinking comprehensively,and designs teaching cases based on ADI teaching model and PCR teaching model.
