Rational thinking is a way of thinking based on evidence and logical reasoning,which is an indispensable,positive and dialectical way of thinking.In the 21 st century,the great age of information explosion,people's working style and learning style have produced profound changes,Rational thinking has been through the life study and work of people's life.Cultivating students' rational thinking ability can help students to prepare for future study,work and life better.With the development of biology and the full launch of curriculum reform,education value connotation of biology curriculum is constantly enriched,and the curriculum concept of biology curriculum is constantly being updated.More and more education workers are beginning to change their existing teaching mode and teaching methods and actively explore new methods of classroom teaching,from the focus on students' basic knowledge of biology and skills,the cultivation and excavation of students' thinking ability is emphasized.Therefore,it is necessary to study how to carry out the rational thinking cultivation of high school students in biology teaching,whether from the development of students' lifelong development and core accomplishment or the change of curriculum reform trend.First of all,according to the requirements of the new curriculum standards,this study is based on theories such as pedagogy,psychology and biological methodology,literature analysis was used to define the concepts of rational thinking and to write a review of both domestic and foreign literature.Secondly,using the questionnaire survey to understand the current situation of students' rational thinking in high school biology learning,and the development of rational thinking in different dimensions of high school students is analyzed through statistical survey results.The results of the survey indicate that: The overall level of rational thinking positively correlated with grade but there is no significant difference.However,there are significant differences in the learning strategies and ability levels of rational thinking between the students of senior one and senior three.In particular,students' ability to generalize,induce and reason are all relatively weak,and the ability of model construction and comprehensive analysis is relatively short.The mean of the students' thinking habits and cognitive attitude is not necessarily related to the grade,but in the four dimensions of rational thinking,all three grades have the lowest level of thinking habits.It means that the student's mind habits need to be reinforced.Furthermore,there is a certain difference in the rational thinking level of students between different genders.In general,the boys are slightly superior to girls but the difference is not significant.Thirdly,according to the current situation of rational thinking of middle school students,this paper puts forward the teaching strategy of cultivating students' rational thinking in high school biology teaching from the four aspects(learning strategy,ability level,thinking habit and cognitive attitude),in which that cultivation of the student 's learn strategies and ability lay is divided into four levels of generalizations,hypothesis deductive class,analysis and comprehensive and model construction,and puts forward the corresponding thinking chain and specific teaching cases respectively.Finally,this paper conducts an experimental study on the proposed teaching strategies,study the effect of teaching strategies on rational thinking based on the measured before and after the experiment.The experimental results show that: After a semester of study,the average score of the experimental class was higher than the control class,and there were significant differences between the two classes.Which means the rational thinking level of students in the experimental class has improved significantly through the implementation of teaching strategies.Therefore,the training strategy which cultivate students' rational thinking is feasible.
