There has been growing interested in the development of each student in modern quality education, educators should try their best to let every student develop in an all-round way.Potential students are becoming more and more common in rural high schools due to family education, school education, students themselves and social environment and other factors. The phenomenon of potential students is not only widespread affects the development of the whole school, but also influence the development of the society as a whole. At the same time,it is also one of the reasons leading to the increase of youth crime. So it is urgently necessary for educators and parents pay close attention to the problem of potential students. This paper focuses on potential senior one students in high schools, because senior one is the starting point of the high school chemistry,it may play a decisive role to well learn the content in a compulsory one of chemistry.Based on my experience of teaching, the author has worked in Shaoyang county second middle school for three years as a chemical teacher. The main study in Shaoyang county second middle school focuses on the transfer of chemical potential senior one students. Many measures have been carried on such as the questionnaire survey understanding of the school,it is concluded that the cause of the chemical potential students in Shaoyang county second middle school, the corresponding strategy is put forward according to genetic analysis.Four potential students of chemistry were intervened and their transformation effects of chemistry learning were tracked. The following conclusions can be drawn from the research:Firstly, there are two major factors affecting chemical potential students have been studied in this paper.External causes including the high school chemistry teaching materials, chemistry discipline, teachers, family and society, while internal cause include lack of learning motivation, lack of interest in learning, the weak original knowledge base, study habits and learning methods, psychological quality and incorrect attribution methods.Secondly, the corresponding strategy is suggested according to the cause of the potential students, mainly including several facts from the family, the teachers themselves and social aspects.Thirdly, four representative chemical potential students were intervened and the transformation effect was obvious, which verified the feasibility of the transformation strategy in this study.
