Core competency research has entered a new stage,that is,from “ core competency connotation ” research to “ core competency landing” research stage.Core mathematical competency is a bridge from theory to the ground.Teachers,as the main body of cultivating students,are the main builders of this bridge.Teachers' role in teaching determines the degree of implementation of core mathematical competency.Therefore,this paper studies the role of primary school mathematics teachers based on core mathematical competency,actively explores how the role of teachers can meet the requirements of core mathematical competency teaching,and ultimately achieve the cultivation of students' core mathematical competency.This paper is divided into four parts.The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces the reasons for choosing the topic,the significance and methods of the research,defines the core concepts,and summarizes the relevant literature at home and abroad on core mathematical competency and the role of mathematics teachers.The second chapter elaborates the new challenge of core mathematical competency to the role of primary school mathematics teachers,analyses the new requirements of core mathematical competency for primary school mathematics teaching,and finds that in order to implement abstract core mathematical competency into tangible mathematics teaching,teaching should take students as the main body,and in mathematical situation,problem solving as the center,so as to realize in-depth dialogue between teachers and students.Teachers,as the main body of teaching,should supplement new roles to respond to the new requirements of mathematics teaching.Therefore,the new roles of primary school mathematics teachers based on core mathematical competency are student researchers,creators of mathematical situations,cultivators of problem solving ability and deep interlocutors.In the third chapter,through classroom observation and interviews,it is found that there is a gap between the role of primary school mathematics teachers and the actual situation,in which the role of teachers as creators of mathematical situations is better realized,while the roles of student analysts,problem-solving ability trainers and in-depth interlocutors still need to be strengthened.In the fourth chapter,based on the analysis of the influencing factors of teacher's role,explores the path of primary school mathematics teacher's role realization fromthree aspects: goal orientation,teacher's self-realization and external support.At the goal-oriented level,we should carry out diversified theoretical training of core mathematical competency to clarify the direction of teachers' role development;at the level of teachers' self-realization,teachers should constantly improve their theoretical level and teaching ability;and at the level of external support,we need to coordinate all resources to form a synergy of teachers' role development.
