The picture book is a kind of book art form,with the characteristics of pictures and texts,can cultivate children's cognitive,language,emotion,imagination and reading ability.Therefore,the picture book has received more and more attention and recognition.Based on the analysis and interpretation of classic foreign children's picture book texts,this article provides ideas and inspiration for the development of original Chinese picture books,provides suggestions and strategies for teachers to carry out picture book reading teaching,and provides some references for parent-child reading.This article systematically and purposefully selected English,American and Japanese children's picture books suitable for reading by children aged 6-7.Through textual and case studies,the texts were drawn from four aspects of the theme,color,composition,and shape of the picture book.analysis.The study found that the classic children's picture books of the three countries in the United Kingdom,the United States,and Japan have similarities in the subject content,cultural connotation,and in line with children's cognitive and psychological laws.British classic children's picture book writers pay more attention to the theme of warm affection.The subject of character cultivation occupies a larger proportion in American classic children's picture books.Japanese classic children's picture book writers pay more attention to the theme of friendship and love.The British,American and Japanese classic children's picture books are mostly rich in color,with bright and warm colors accounting for the majority,and the most common ones are the red and yellow lines.The composition background of children's picture books is relatively simple,with diverse perspectives,full tension,and using different perspectives to compose pictures,enhancing the artistic charm of picture books.The picture book is vivid,humorous,interesting,full of vitality,and fits into the theme of the picture book,and enriches their image by designing some expressions and actions for the protagonist,thus stimulating children's imagination.The article provides some suggestions and references for the creators,teachers,and parents of the final picture.The picture book creator should first of all enhance his own culture and artistic accomplishment.When creating a picture book,he should pay attention to the status of the picture and make a stand in the child's position.Teachers should understand and understand the picture book before carrying out picture book reading teaching,and choose a picture book suitable for children to teach.When parents and children read together,they must choose a picture book that is suitable for the child's physical and mental development and read it with their children.
