Objective: With the rapid development of social economy and the improvement of people’s material life and spiritual level, people’s standards of their own beauty will also increase.Physical beauty has quietly become one of the criteria for judging beauty, affecting our image and spirit. It is not difficult for us to find that many adolescents will show different degrees of foot shape in the course of natural gait.Form directly affects our physical beauty;therefore,it is imperative to study the foot shape of "Wai Ba Zi".Through a lot of reading,we find that the research on the foot shape of "Waibaozi" mainly focuses on the body surface judgment and theoretical analysis, but not on the scientific and systematic experimental data research on the foot shape itself of "Waibaozi".With the improvement of our material living standard, our scientific experimental equipment has gradually become perfect, and the research on the foot shape of "Waibaozi" needs to be systematically improved.Based on the current situation of the research on the foot shape of "Waiba" foot, this paper studies the foot arch measurement,high-speed photography under natural gait, plantar pressure and electromyography of "Waiba" foot shape. We strive to get the real data of serious "Waiba" foot shape in all aspects of gait, and provide reliable support for the research of "Waiba" foot shape in our country. Methods: 150 non-sports majors in Xi’an Institute of Physical Education were selected as the research subjects, and the foot shape screening experiment of "Waibaozi" was carried out.Finally,15 male youths(experimental group)and 15 male youths(control group)with severe foot type and normal foot type were screened out.The foot arch experiment was done, and the ab/bc ratio measured by footprint method was recorded as the original data.Eight male youths(experimental group)and eight normal foot male youths(control group)with severe "outer eight-character" foot type on the right foot were selected as experimental subjects. The gait cycle, plantar pressure and electromyography data were collected by high-speed photography and synchronization of plantar pressure and electromyography. The original data were collated and recorded by Excel software. The original data were the number of frames recorded by high-speed photography in gait cycle, the area of right plantar pressure subarea and the percentage of load subarea, dynamic plantar pressure load data and EMG data. The EMG contribution rate of each period of the gait cycle selected by the subjects was recorded. Finally, the difference between the severely "outer eight-character" foot type male youth and the normal foot type male youth was tested.Result:(1)The frequency of serious "outer eight-character" foot type of non-sports male youth was higher than that of normal foot type.(2)The ab/bc ratio of ipsilateral foot was lower in severe foot type group than that in normal foot type group.(3)The number of frames in the mid-support period of the serious "outer eight-character" foot group was less than that in the normal foot group, and the number of frames in the late support period and the early swing period was more than that in the normal foot group.(4)Compared with the normal foot type, the serious "outer eight-character" foot type male youth have smaller stress area and lower stress load value in the stress area of the right big toe, higher stress load value in the stressarea of the first metatarsal bone, higher stress area value and higher stress load value in the inner stress area of the foot arch in the whole gait cycle.(5)Characteristic comparison of gait cycle of male youth with severe "outer eight-character" foot type in right foot: A: lower contribution rate of biceps femoris myoelectricity in early stage of right foot support;B: lower contribution rate of semitendinosus Semimembranous myoelectricity in middle stage of right foot support;higher contribution rate of medial gastrocnemius myoelectricity in middle stage of right foot support;C: higher contribution rate of semitendinosus Semimembranous muscle, medial gastrocnemius muscle and lateral gastrocnemius myoelectricity in late stage of right foot support; In the early stage of lateral swing, the contribution rate of medial gastrocnemius muscle and lateral gastrocnemius muscle was high;the contribution rate of semitendinosus muscle was low in the early stage of right swing;the contribution rate of medial gastrocnemius muscle and lateral gastrocnemius muscle was high in the right supporting stage of F;the contribution rate of biceps femoris was low;the contribution rate of tibialis anterior muscle was low in the right swing stage of G;the contribution rate of medial gastrocnemius muscle was low in the whole gait cycle of H.The contribution rate of tibialis anterior muscle and biceps femoris muscle was low.CONCLUSION:(1)Among the non-sports young men,the serious foot with eight characters is easier to appear than the normal foot.(2)The arch of the foot of the male youth with serious "outer eight-character" foot is low.(3)The time spent in the middle stage of right foot support was shorter for the male youth with serious "outer eight-character" foot of right foot, while it took longer for the end stage of right foot support and the prophase of right foot swing.(4)The plantar pressure characteristics of male youth with severe "outer eight-character" foot: the stress load of the first metatarsal and the medial stress area of the arch of foot increased. This may be the main reason for the low arch of male youth with severe "Waiba" foot.(5)The medial head of gastrocnemius muscle had strong relative contraction force in the whole gait cycle, while the muscles of tibialis anterior and biceps femoris had weak relative contraction force.
