A Research On The Influencing Factors Of College Student's Entrepreneurial Intention

In recent years,the focus on entrepreneurial education continues to grow.The National Policy supported and encouraged innovation and entrepreneurship of college students.The college has also set up relevant courses,formulated relevant policies and created incubation center to help those college students who want to be entrepreneurs.It has been theoretical and practical significance to understand the entrepreneurial intention of college students,and analyzed those influenced factors.The study was based on the theory of Social Learning and Cultural and Historical Development,with an investigating the overall situation of college students' entrepreneurial intention,individual characteristics,family situations,college education and social environment were analyzed through questionnaire and interview.Based on the results,this paper would give advice on how to improve the entrepreneurial intention of college students.Based on these investigation,the conclusions as followed:(1)The entrepreneurial intention of most college students in Nanjing was not high in generally.(2)The entrepreneurial intention of college students was affected by the education of college students most,the following factors were individual characteristics,family situations and social environment.(3)The gender,the record of formal schooling and the institutional level have impacted on student's entrepreneurial intention.(4)To be specific,in family situation,the type and the experience of their family members have a large impact on student's entrepreneurial intention.In college education,the lack of professional teachers,indistinctive curriculum,assessment and the absence of atmosphere also have been impacted.In social environment,the problem not only in poor social assistance,but also in low tolerance of the entrepreneur in our culture.(5)In order to improve the entrepreneurial intention of college students,the college has to enhance the specialization of course,optimize the teaching staff,manage relevant student's associations and solid the hardware foundation of incubation center.The social should provide an inclusive environment.As to family and individual,all of them should look at an entrepreneur with an objective attitude.
