| The modern academic profession has the obvious stratification characteristic,the scientific elite is in the absolute superiority position in the scientific science honor and the research funding allocation.In China,obtaining several kinds of National Talents Projects has become an important symbol of identifying the academic elite.This paper takes the young biology teachers in universities as the object of study,and whether to obtain the national talents project as the identification basis of the young biology teachers as the academic elite,researching the function of external capital and intrinsic spiritual trait in the formation of academic elite.At the same time,it analyzes the mechanism of the formation of academic elite in China on the basis of the theoretical basis of scientific stratification on the basis of the classical universalism and particularism.In the fourth round of discipline evaluation of the Ministry of Education,16 university biology faculty teachers in the fourth round of discipline assessment were collected by CV,network data.This research has obtained 429 young biology teachers information including gender,undergraduate school,doctoral institution,post-doctoral experience,doctor tutor information,and the comprehensive index h-index which represents the quality and quantity of young scholars papers is collected from the Scopus paper database.Chi-square tests on whether or not to obtain talent projects and gender,education background and the T-test on the h-index of acquired talents projects had been analyzed.The Logistic regression model of whether a young biology teacher acquired talents project was established,the conclusion can be drawn that the gender of young biology teachers,with overseas post-doctoral experience,the doctoral tutor was an Academician,h-index had a significant impact on the acquisition of talents program.Based on the sacred spark theory and the theory of professional values,a scale of calling orientation and career orientation for college teachers is developed.A questionnaire containing occupational values scale,average weekly working time and other questions was sent to the e-mail of young biology teachers collected by CV,87 valid questionnaires were obtained.The characteristics of professional values and working hours of young biology teachers are analyzed,and the Logistic regression model of whether a young biology teacher acquired talents project is established,the conclusion can be drawn that the calling orientation and career orientation plays a positive role in obtaining talents.Finally,based on the results of CV analysis and questionnaire survey,it is concluded that the formation of young academic elites in biology in China is mainly based on the principle of universalism and particularism plays a part of the role,calling orientation is the core internal concept of the young academic elite in biology,and the career orientation is the outstanding internal concept of the young academic elite.Finally,the characteristics of gender on the formation of academic elites,doctoral mentors on the formation of academic elites,the interaction between external capital and spiritual traits has been discussed.The suggestions are put forward to the individual level and policy level.The innovation of this study is summarized and the limitations and prospects of the research are put forward. |
