Environmental issues become a hot topic in China and the international community.The development of environmental awareness among middle school students is based on the needs of the times and education.The newly edited junior high school people's education history textbooks also have very rich and relevant materials,which is worth exploring.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the necessity of the research of the subject by interpreting the relationship between the concept of “environment” and “environmental awareness”,and to sort out the content of the related environmental awareness training with the newly edited junior high school education textbook,and finally propose developing suggestions and case presentations.The full text is divided into the following five parts:The first part mainly analyzes related concepts and theories,combines the characteristics of historical disciplines,and then stratifies the environment and environmental consciousness in order,and conducts theoretical analysis from Kohlberg's moral dilemma,environmental ethics and core literacy of history.The second part emphasizes the necessity of research on the subject of environmentaldegradation,curriculum reform,student development and training.The third part focuses on the new junior high school people's education history textbooks,and explores the materials cultivated by the related environmental awareness according to the theme.The fourth part combines text analysis and teaching experience to propose how to cultivate environmental awareness of middle school students.According to the content of the proposal,in the fifth part,the new junior high school education textbook history textbook ninth grade,the sixth lesson,“Industrialized Countries and Social Change”implements teaching for the case,sums up and reflects from the perspective of reality,and gains inspiration.The development of environmental awareness based on the newly edited version of the history textbook has not only played a practical role in serving modern society,but also promoted students to develop sound historical qualities.However,there are still shortcomings in the practical teaching works.These achievements and shortcomings will provide experience and motivation for the followed works.
