In 2001,the Ministry of Education issued the Experimental Program of compulsory Education Curriculum,one year later,Hunan Province formulated the compulsory Education Curriculum(experiment)Plan of Hunan Province in 2002.The main purpose of the plan is to further implement the implementation of the national curriculum program in the province.At the same time,the plan has made corresponding adjustments according to the actual situation in the province.Therefore,this study takes107 rural elementary schools in Hunan Province as the object of investigation,mainly reflects the current situation of curriculum implementation in rural elementary schools through the form of timetable survey,and understands the existing problems and related influencing factors.At the same time,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions in order to improve the relevant policies,further deepen curriculum implementation and promote the balanced development of compulsory education.This study includes five parts: introduction,current situation analysis of curriculum implementation in rural elementary schools,problems existing in curriculum implementation in rural elementary schools,reasons affectingcurriculum implementation in rural elementary schools,and suggestions for improving curriculum implementation level in rural elementary schools.The first part mainly introduces the background of the introduction and implementation of compulsory education curriculum program in Hunan Province,the purpose of this paper and research methods.The second part is the analysis of the current situation of curriculum implementation in rural elementary schools,including three dimensions: the current situation of curriculum opening in rural elementary schools,the current situation of curriculum opening in rural elementary schools,and the difference analysis of curriculum opening.The third part is about the problems existing in the curriculum implementation of rural elementary schools.According to the data statistics and interviews of the curriculum,this study mainly discusses the distribution of the opening volume,the opening of new courses,and the implementation of comprehensive practical activities.The fourth part explores the reasons that affect curriculum implementation from five aspects: objective conditions in rural areas,policy analysis,rural teachers,traditional education concepts and comprehensive practice activitiesguarantee system.The fifth part puts forward relevant suggestions for the problems.In a word,through investigation and analysis,this study finds that there are many problems in the curriculum implementation of rural elementary schools,such as unbalanced distribution of class hours,inadequate new courses,poor implementation effect of comprehensive practical activities,etc.The curriculum implementation of rural elementary schools is influenced by objective conditions,traditional concepts,teachers,policies and other factors.According to the conclusion of this study,the author believes that we should start with perfecting the curriculum management system,striving for the support of the external environment,emphasizing the consideration of policy on rural education and strengthening the construction of teachers,etc.to improve the existing relevant policies,formulate policies and systems more in line with the actual situation of rural compulsory education,improve the level of curriculum implementation in rural elementary schools,and improve the quality of rural compulsory education.
